Name: Tony Intrieri Location: Central, PA Gender: Male Age: 44 Occupation: Partner of a regional Information Technology company
About:
My first car was a 1972 Toyota Corolla that was obtained in a trade for my Schwin 10 speed straight up. That was at the age of 14 and now 29 year later I have owned well over 100 cars including (2) 1970 429 Torino Cobras, 1969 428 Torino Cobra, 1969 Dodge 383 Super Bee, 1967 Ford Mustang GT 390, and I currently own 1970 Mach 1, the list goes on but I only have so much space on here. I take great pride in buying these cars in sad shape and restoring them to their former glory. I rarely turn the work over to anyone else partly because I am too cheap and partly because I enjoy working on the cars. My Team’s interest in the Bullrun is strictly for the adventure and experience of the wildest Rally on the planet. We have no expectations other then to have great time trying to win. I am married to a beautiful wife and we have two great girls ages 16 and 12. My family is the best and is mostly understanding and supportive of my hobby.
Mission Statement:
Team Mach1's mission is to have a puke load amount of fun! Driving all day trying to find a newspaper stand in Shanty town We feel that the Ford 351 Cleveland could run the posted speed limits across this great country of ours 10 times over and we welcome any other make or model to be as consistent as we feel we can be at following the rules of road and navigating our way. So with that out of the way all that’s left is experiencing the roadway, the scenery, and the people who live in it. What more could you ask for?
About My Team:
Kenny and I have known each other for over 30 years. I was his best man at his wedding and he at mine. Both of us are extremely competitive and neither takes to losing very well. Thankfully that rarely happens as we rule our friends/wives at each and every board game from Password to Pictionary. We simply have No equals when it comes to Wiffle Ball, Beer Pong, Darts, Bocce Ball, Ping Pong, or Foose Ball. I am a partner of a regional Information Technology company and Kenny (when not serving in Iraq he just got back 3/1/09 from his second tour) spends his days working as a Police officer in PA keeping reckless drivers off the road. We think and act a like on many subjects but when there is a disagreement things can/do get ugly to the point of personal insults that most onlookers find amusing or just down right silly. We respectfully consider each other to be simpletons and or full of Shit and have no problem letting the other know it. So this should help us pass the time as we roll across somewhereville USA. The car we would enter is my 1970 Ford Mustang Mach1. It has 31,000 original miles on it and its bullet proof. I am sure it won’t be the quickest car in the field but the thing won’t stop running.

My Biggest Strength:
Besides being able to bench 400lbs each? (That last statement is a flat out lie) We hate to lose! We really hate it. We will push ourselves and my car over and above what is needed to win. Our combined health and welfare (me/my partner/ the car) is of little concern if it were to get in the way of winning. Also when it comes to game play we have no morals. There would be no issues with straight face lying to other teams if we feel we could benefit from it. Actually we would giggle our asses off if one of our bold face lies sent a competitor in the wrong direction for fifty miles.
