About:                     

Driver - I am 39, married with 2 kids (boys 14 and 12) and into anything car related since I was little.  My dad was into cars, so that helped.  Now my 14 year old son is into cars as well! 

I have 20 years worth of car magazines in my basement along with a few thousand Hotwheels / matchbox cars.  I have drag raced a little, auto-x, some track days and ride 4 wheelers, etc...  I am a nerdy bean counter.  NEVER BECOME AN ACCOUNTANT.  I am not sure if there is a more boring field.   I have been at the same employer for roughly 12 years, so I am apparently into punishment!   My middle name is Irwin but don't tell anyone!!!!!   

I can change oil and brake pads.  Besides that, for some reason I have nearly negative mechanical skills. 

Planning on putting on a show for Bullrun Season III!

 

Mission Statement:

Flying under the radar will not be our mission!  With the ability of the Trailblazer SS, my driving experience and Patricks mad navigational skills, we plan to dominate Bullrun!  To infiniti and beyond!

About My Team:

Team Trailblazer SS is comprised of me (Scot Burner) and my Brother in Law Patrick Espinosa.  We have know each other for approximately 7 years.  Patrick is 41 years old, married with 3 little girls to feed and is a native of the west coast.  He is in the Food Catering business for his profession (good thing with all those little kids).  Patrick has driven to El Salvador and back and also to Alaska and back, so travel is second nature!  

The Truck is a nearly stock 2008 Chevy Trailblazer SS.  It is all wheel drive and can beat all of the kids at the local Circuit City. :D

I believer our biggest stregnth will be my driving experience.  I have driven approximately 500,000 miles in my lifetime with some of those on the track, drag strip, Auto-X, etc.....The Corvette Engine under the hood of the Trailblazer SS doesn't hurt either. :)
