I've been fatuated with the LS1 TransAm since I was 16. I recal cutting grass and looking up to see a brand new red, 1998 ws6 pass by me and said "oh yes, one day, she will be mine." After graduating college and obtaining a full time career as a designer for a Cincinnati ad. agency I immediately congradulated my success with a 2000 Navy blue metallic WS.6 which i called "the Batmobile." It was the greatest feeling ever and for 3 years I enjoyed her as a family member until March 2007 when I had a bad accident which led to the car being totalled. I yearned for a new car and found in the despair and hollow feeling of being without "the Batmobile" an appreciation for black f-bodies. So be it, my next TransAm was a triple-black 2000 ws.6 which I entitled "the Phoenix Risen."

I've greatly modified the suspension beyond Pontiac's stock "performance trim" and so brandished the car with a more appropriate emblem: "WS•666, Sick & Twisted Performance Package." I love that I can rip the shifter and speed through twistys and pull out the t tops to enjoy a summer cruise. This certainly is a "driver's car" and a great testiment to American Muscle.
