Name: Chris Meier Location: Oakville, CT 06779 Gender: Male Age: 42 Occupation: Abuse and Neglect Investigator
About:
I have been working on cars since I could walk, learning the basics from my Dad. With him watching over my shoulder, I changed a set of valve spring seals on the family Mercury at the age of 9. Since then I have had a number of oddball cars including a VW Bug, 7 Scirocco's in one year, a GTi, a 460 powered LTDII, a 72 GTO, and some quirky Mazda's like the 323GTX, an Rx-7, and now a V-8 Miata. Now I help my nephew "Krispy" with his toys, an LS-1 S-10 pick up, an AWD Talon that runs 10's, and a CTD Dodge for pulling and plowing. Off road we have a diverse collection that spans dirt bikes from a 50cc Honda, to a race prepped Yamaha 426 once run by Doug Henry (no relation), a couple quads and a Honda Oddessey powered by a 440cc rotax. When we play it's serious......fun!
Mission Statement:
To dirve hard and have fum from start to finish. Cars and driving aren't just a hobby, they are what we do.
About My Team:
NIck has been dating my niece for nearly four years. I had only one rule for him; break her heart I break his leg. Then again, I like him enough that I would give him a ride to the ER after. We have become great friends and helped each other take project dreams and make them reality. From the $250 Mustang that clicked off a 13.98 on it's maiden run, to throwing a Quad Cab Diesel sideways with a Coke machine in the bed, Nick and I have never thought twice about taking a vehicle to its limits... and beyond. The bigger the challange, the more fun we have. After all, its only sheet metal.
