Well, I'm Rob. I live in Summerville, SC and work as a systems engineer for the U.S. NAVY. Prior to that, I was a Radioman on submarines in the NAVY. Most of the time though, I spent driving them. Came to San Diego in 1994, meet a "California Girl" (Vicki) and never left, till January 2010! We will be married 12 years this May. We have two kids, Kyle who is 19 and Katie who is 16.

To friends, family or people just short on money, I'm kinda the local mechanic. I got tired of people taking their car to a shop for repairs and having to keep going back because it wasn't done right the first time. Or having to pay ridiculous amounts of $$$$ to get something fixed. (me included) So I started doing all my own car repairs. Then decided if I could save someone money and make sure things were done right, that's what I started to do. PLUS, I work for cheap. I get paid with Diet Mtn. Dew !!            (I know, it matches the car!). Parts, I can get them discounted. It's just freakin' cool to be able to help people out!

One of the things I love about living in Southern California is the car culture. Anything automotive, it's here!

About My Team:

     The team is made up of me, my wife and our Charger. We've been married almost 11 years and we're still happily together.

 Vicki is a San Diego native and I have lived in 9 states. We each have 20 years + driving experience. Personality wise I'm pretty easy going but when I have my mind set and focused on something, you'd have better luck talking to or fighting with a brickwall! LOL! My team member, my wife, is the queen of "doesn't know the meaning of NO or can't" multi-tasker! Sounds funny, but it works for us.

My love of cars started with Tonka toys, Matchbox and Hot Wheels at 3. Like most people my age had the same TV favorites growing up. The "General Lee" from Dukes of Hazzard, old Batmobile, Starsky and Hutch's Torino, KITT from Knight Rider and the Coyote from Hardcastle and McCormick. What hooked me on "Mopars" was when one of my sisters started dating this guy with a black 1970 Plymouth Road Runner. It's looks, the sound of it's 383, I was drawn to it like a magnet! From my first car, a 1973 Dodge Charger S.E. with the 400 and 727 TF, to buying my 2007 Charger Daytona R/T, all Mopars!!

As for me and driving, ever since I started, I've always felt at home when I'm in the driver's seat. With my first car, that taste of freedom and independance. I've driven RWDs, FWDs, 4X4s, in every weather condition, on every type of surface and every traffic condition imagineable. Now, being more experienced, and being able to appreciate driving a car that's running like a top, pushing the envelope of the car and myself and just feeling, WOW! What an awesome feeling, when anyone else in the car is screaming, shouting, peein' their pants, trying to hold on to something, or just haveing a severe case of "pucker" and it's because of me doing something that seemed impossible and didn't break a sweat!

Don't EVER underestimate my wife, my Mopar or me and don't EVER count us out. You will be proven wrong.

	Hey Rob. I will get you to watch for a Roadrunner for me. Engine don't matter, 4speed, bench seat, manual steering, manual brakes, #3 driver condition, black on black. Like I said, re-creating my high school car. Bringing my 2 car hauler down for Route 66 so if you happen to see one...but don't worry about looking for one. 	Will do Rob. But I think now that you are in SC, I'll be asking you to keep an eye out for stuff for me. The only other thing I wouldn't mind adding at some point in the future is a '69 RoadRunner. Been waiting for a very long time for the right one to come up. Just want my High School car back. I might even put the black diamond tuck interior back in!

	Oh, the '71 is a recent aquisition. It will be built for some high speed action. It's a 40000 mile barn find 383, 4sp, air grabber car. It's the orange one in my pics. Still in cold storage right where I found it until the end of May. The Hemi cars I don't post on open forums (usually). They are all leaving as they just seem to be dust collectors. The Charger 500 is not a money maker or loser but I'm just having trouble justifying having that much coin tied up in high end cars that I don't drive. Going to concentrate on building some stuff that I can beat on and have fun with. Things like the Dart will be the direction I go now. Fun stuff.

	Hey Rob, I had a picture of the engine from my (soon to be sold to a dude in France) 69 Hemi Charger 500 and nobody but Tony Wagner commented. But every time I put up a picture of one of my field fresh pieces of $hit, everyone comments! I guess it's just an inside joke. The current Avitar is the car that I have promised to ram up TINS' (willow's) ass. It's a '69 Fury.
