Im Jon, and Im 18. Ive loved cars all my life, and I dont know everything, but I know alot about them. speed is the fuel to my life, I see no point living life in the slow lane, so Im always up on the wheel and pushing my limits. I was born and raised in Maine, so Ive experienced all driving terrain and weather. I do crazy things that are stupid because its fun and just makes me a better driver. I think that being on Bullrun would be an awesome experience as well as an opportunity to finally show my driving skill and truly put it and my ultra-mega-super-tiny-car to the test. TEAM MINI

About My Team:

Driver - Ive been driving for a few years now, and I've been a car guy my whole life. I've done everything from restoring old cars, and rebuilding wrecked cars to doing performance mods to newer cars. I have driving skill above most because I live in New England so I have alot of experience in the gravel, pavement, snow, or anything Bullrun can think of to throw at us. I tend to use my handbrake no matter what Im driving on, so if one of those challenges starts to get hairy I know how to save my car.

Team - We've known eachother for about 5 years, and we work together pretty well. We've been driving in the Mini enough to feel comftorble enough to try about anything, and Im pretty sure my Co-Driver trusts me by now. I hope. haha We both live in a small town in Maine, so we know how to find our way around  when we arent in the citys which seems to be usefull. Living in Maine is also probably a big plus because we both have a pretty decent amount of experience on all terrain.

Hey Bud. Sorry we've been "out of service" for a while down in San Diego. the comment I made about the roads and you doing "well" is that Mini of yours, it is fairly close to the ground, like my Saleen , and would grip the curves and dips of the winding mountain roads out here. No wise cracks from me, just good ole' fashion fun!!! The dates are Jan. 16-19, but would prefer everyone try and make it out here on the 15th for a meet and greet and stuff. Hope to see y'all soon man! Take care...

Yeah, I'm entering my third year. Pretty much done with all required CS classes, now for those stupid GE classes.haha
My co-driver is majoring in information systems and seems to like it.

I like the TC. It's a nice car, I can't wait to start doing some performance mods. Those mini's are nice. Got to take a supercharged mini out once. I defiantly want to get one down the road.

And yes I know exactly what you mean. Like here its so hot, that if you leave your car off somewhere for a long period of time, your battery is gone. Its happen to me plenty of times. Today being one. Went to Ft. Worth and it was 101 with a heat index of 108 and drove the Denali, went to eat and everything, came back, it would not start. I was pissed. But yea I cant wait to start working on the Camaro. We have done alittle to it. Starting with paint, we repainted it and im looking for new rims and tires!

My friend has a Mini and me and him were following each other the other day and I was in my Denali. We got to the light and I pulled up next to him and then another Mini pulled up on the other side of him. We all agreed and when the light turned green we took off. I beat them off the line but they came back pretty fast.. They were neck and neck the whole way. I finally caught up doing about 95mph.. The finish line was a dead end. Believe it or not but I actually came in first.. The other Mini came in second and my friend came in third. It was awesome. Mini's kick ass!!

They are sprung pretty stiff from the factory, and the semi trucks kinda push you around on the freeway. But what do you expect, I'm driving a barn door!! Then you lower it and put some 35 series tires on it, and now I can feel the little plastic road reflectors when I run them over. Honestly though, it's nothing too bad, and if it didn't ride like that, it wouldn't handle like it does. The thing is a go-kart and with the manual transmission it makes it fun to drive to work.

Very nice, lovin' the Minis!! My woman has the RS4.0 tC which is a fun little car also. But out of the Scions, I like the old body style xB's the best!! I might be biased though.

Saw it and loved it. Didn't get stuck by any stinky people, just behind a lady with a 8 month old baby and she kept using her cell phone. I finally had to say a few things to her. I'm not the quiet type... :)
