About:
I've been following the Bullrun for 4 years. Ever since the epic 2006 N.Y-L.A. run I have been hooked. I will eventually participate in a Bullrun rally, but first, I need a decent car and a lot of money ; ) As of now, I'm a journalism student with hopes of aquiring a career in the field of automotive journalism. I was at the 2008 start line in Calgary, that just made me want to be a part of Bullrun more than ever. I have seen all 6 seasons of Cops Cars and Superstars (even the 2009 season) and own all the Bullrun DVD's that have been released to date. I also own a BR T-shirt signed by Bill Goldberg and the Flag Girls of Season 3 (but it's a size XXL shirt), a whole set of Bullrun 07/08/09 decals and some other BR merchendise. If that doesn't scream "I love Bullrun!" then what does? In late December 2009, I was asked by Bullrun producer and rally organizer Andy Duncan to become an administrator on the Bullrun website and be responsible for front page content. I happily accepted. ------------------------------- My new (first ever) ride as of April 24th 2009 is a 2004 Chrysler Sebring LXi http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3320499 Though I did not initially intend on buying this car, it was too good to pass up. I was at a local Chrysler dealership looking for a 2007 Dodge Charger. I had $10 Grand I was willing to spend (Used to be $14,000 but that changed when I found out about the cost of insurance...) The salesman told me that the likelihood of me finding a Charger for less than $16,000 was very unlikely. He asked me what I was willing to spend on a car and took me to the Sebring. I went for a test drive, looked at the cars history report and other related data. The car handled great during the test drive. The price of the car I negotiated down to $9,100 which made me want it even more. Then I found out that the car just had new brakes installed the previous day, the air filter had been upgraded and the tires had been replaced. This all added up to roughly a $1,200 value which I would not have to pay for. After a week of deliberation, I went back and purchased the car. Since it's an LXi, it has leather heated seats, a power sunroof and other features such as an autostick and programmable traction control and cruise control. Plus this car is super fun to drive!
