On December 25,2009, the iconic Bullrun Hero (Shelby Mustang) car seen by millions each year on the hit BULLRUN Reality TV show and in the World Rally Cop's Cars & Superstars seen by international viewers was pulled over with Andy Duncan (Executive Producer of the Bullrun on SpeedTV) driving and was then impounded by California's states finest.

 

 

This vehicular event occurred after Mr. Duncan spent his Christmas day with his close friend Robbie Williams (International Pop Star) walking their dogs together with Robbie's girlfriend (Ayda Field). Mr. Duncan returning home along route 405 in California was spotted cruising in his Bullrun Shelby GT. An unnamed State Police officer thought that by pulling Mr. Duncan over he was going to keep the California population safe. The State Officer felt that the car was modified beyond what the State of California allowed in it's overly aggressive attack on sport cars. The officer impounded the car and after some intense conversations with the California State court system and $12,000 dollars later, the car was returned to Mr. Duncan's custody safely.

 

Those that aren't aware of the intense laws governing "racing" cars in the State of California. If a production car is found to be modified for street racing or like events. It is crushed as-is and the owner losses all rights to the car. In California if "the" court thinks yours is a race car you lose your ride. Most of the time those that have their cars impounded by the state face that ending. However in Mr. Duncan's case he was able to save the car from that fate.

 

Mr. Duncan had to prove was that the car was in fact a factory Super-car and that it was also a prop car for the hit TV show BULLRUN airing on the Speed Channel this February 18th.

 

 

It is also rumored that after having the infamous Bullrun Shelby impounded. He felt he needed to get himself another Shelby Mustang to put into his garage, just in case.
