Hey, i'm Cory! Most people call me cork. Yea I know i made my profile a few days ago... I started watchin BullRun halfway thru last season, and that hooked me. My Ride is a 1979 Chevy Monte Carlo. I bought it when i got out of high school for $400. It didn't have any rust on and the guy just wanted to get rid of it, being it was avacado I can see why. I yanked the 267 V8 from it and installed a chevy 383 stroker that i built myself, replace the stock rear gears. I also did the paint myself, and it shows..... And 4 transmissons later it moves very well!

somewhere in the 400 hp ballpark, I think. I copied a setup out of car craft, minus the expensive block. A shop with a chassis dyno opend up about an hr from my house and i'm goin to get it dyno tuned.

11.5:1 compression, Vortec heads, crane cam with .512" lift, long tube headers 1 5/8" primary, and of course the noisy timing gears.
