 I love how the domestic drivers sleep on dubs.  granted your r well clean is extremely underpowerd from the factory and those mods dont push you to much further, but the potential is there.  

Anyways I got a 2003 Gti 20th Anniversary GTi, mods include: 

MOTOR: Pauter rods, JE pistons, K04-001 turbo(soon to be gt3071r), 42DD 3inch TBE, Samco TIP, Eurosport ACC ram air intake, STI coil packs, mild port,ported intake mani, 5 angle valve job, n75 race valve, forge 007 dv, Eurojet race FMIC and prolly some other stuff im forgetting, VF stage 2 Engine and Tranny mounts, and BFI stage 2 dogbone mount.

SUSPENSION and WHEELS: Vogtland Coilovers, poly bushins all the way around, h&r swaybars.

winter wheels: OEM stock 18x7.5 OZ aristos some crappy all season tires

Summer wheels:  BBS RS 17X8 and 17X9 painted artic white with Khumo ecsta spt 205/45 fronts and 215/45 rears

EXTERIOR: euro front and rear bumpers, JOM m3 style smoked tails, Helix oem HID replica headlights w/ 4300k hid headlights and 3000k hid foglights.  Painted black grill, 4 motion front valence, NA no exhaust cutout rear valance, Artic white painted roof and mirrors, deleted rear wiper.

INTERIOR:  Recaro SRD's seats with white suede centers, Headliner and a,b,c pillars all white suede, removed rear seats with a custom flase floor covered in white suede, new south performance boost guage.

Much dub love yea you be suprised how many people dont know what an r32 is and yes i agree we are under powered but when it come to quality we got most beat and on my kill list i have american cars that should beat me but lost to bad they say i cheated i say they just cant handle turns like i can and the just suck at driving and life

under powered?  i dissagree. if you look at the cars made for the same class the vw's are among the most powerful,

in the U.S. the r32,sti,evo, are viewed as the same class of vehicle.   in Europe the golf belongs to a smaller class of cars the sti evo and the like are classified as sedans where the golf is a compact. show me another compact in the u.s. that can hold a candle to the r32....certainly nothing made by honda, toyota, acura, unless its got $$$$ worth of aftermarket garb on it. thats not to say that those companies don't make some decent cars, just not fair to vw to say they are underpowered when we dont see half the products that other markets see......besides its all about torque....most vw's have a torque curve that closley follows the hp rating thats where you get your acceleration.... although i do admit it seems that VWOA seems to not know or care about a large contingent of customers that would buy the !@#$ out of the new scirocco.    c'mon VWOA give us the good stuff!!!!!!!
