hey everybody... today i sold my 71 dodge dart to paul wagner...lol

im sure he will rep hard in the upcoming season and hopefully me and one

of my teammates will represent in season 3 or 4... we will be building

a honda civic and transplanting a fully built JDM h22a... turbo... i will leave the major

details out as they are still in the works... but it will def be resleeved with iron sleeves,

forged internals,  we will be running a GT40 turbo on maybe 17-20 Lbs so its reliable and

we are hoping for about 550-600whpand about 400-450ft/lbs..

and the rest is for us to kno and u to wonder now put that together with a 1500Lbs car...

talk about hp/weight ratio... :P....

thanks paul for introducing me to bullrun...

hopefully we can compete side by side one day... just FYI none of the aforementioned is set in stone

and our team may decide a different direction at any moment but well b sure to update...

Most Civics (even hatches) aren't 1500 pounds... more like 2200 or so. And if you removed 700 pounds of stuff from it, it wouldn't be very much fun to drive across country.

Still, good to see you here! Hope you build the car and raise some hell with it.

carbon fiber doors!!! oh yeh power nothing, no power steering, power windows, actually the

three back windows will be poly carb.... all together about 700 punds

Ever thought about how carbon would hold up in a challenge where you have to run through stuff? And man, driving a Honda with plastic windows... good luck.

Thats what we wanted to find out with our stang and all of it's CF.

That sounds like a baddass setup for the civi. Welcome to Bullrun.

Carbon fiber is strong stuff. A buddy had his CF hood come up at 75mph last year, it destroyed the windshield and dented the hell out of the roof, and the only damage to the hood was cracks/chips in the gelcoat. Going through the challenges will destroy your CF panels, but you can repair and paint them. Repairing to keep the CF look would be pretty tricky though.
