These cars are pretty much a snow-mobile just 2 years ago i was living fort collins colorado and we got 1-2 feet of snow and i had to get to work our streets where not plowed just the main ones had a little of the snow off and I didnt get stuck once! My TT was passing big diesel 4x4's and all i could do was laugh. I love the quattro set up

I know the feeling,living in South Dakota we get a bit of snow ourselves

Um, what he didn't tell you, is that she is MY baby, a birthday gift he surprised me with. OH how I love my car!!!  While I watch the other drivers sliding all over the road, the only thing I fear is a big patch of ice...she so handles snow!!!  I love how she rides, the heated seats throughout, and my sound system is awesome!!!  I love pulling up next to some young punk, blaring Queensryche, or Poets of the Fall, and watch them sit in shock, because their rear woofer doesn't beat out my Bose!!!!

It has been a long time in posting just thought I would drop by ,am hoping to get home and surprise the wife with a set of sway bars,and a new helmet.

Yeah, some surprise, Honey. You forget I read these posts too!!  LOL   So looking forward to the ice races this winter, that is so going to be a blast!!! I get my training the right way, on snow and ice, so let's hope this little red headed girl can beat the boys.

How do they mark an ice racing track? 

when people out in ohio do it they use the reflectors and i have seen cars get messed up on them

I had a 2006 1/2 VW GTI.  Loved that car to death!  However, with any kind of snow accumulation and ice, driving that car was like hitting a hockey puck down the middle of an ice skating rink, then attempting to get that puck to turn, lol.  I put snow tires on which helped, but I hated driving it on the snow (not to say it wasn't fun, just scary for me).  Then I traded for the Wrangler Unlimited.  I miss the VW so much, but for the area i live in the Wrangler is better for me.
