What do YOU do in the driving off-season?

Well, in WI we only have about 6 months of good driving weather, and even that's debatable.

.....And then my car goes to sleep........

Since Im addicted to the stench of tires & exhaust fumes, me and a few others in the area go to Chicago Indoor Racing to keep in driving shape and keep the mental edge sharp.  lol  .....or at least try to.

Vid of it-  1400' track w/ 200cc Honda 4 cycles in Bowman chasis.  These things get to about 30-35mph and will wear you out with 'proper' driving.

"There were no cops, no trees, no humans of any kind so we decided to wring out the little Ford. For 47 minutes straight the Fusion was pinned at 111 mph with the A/C on getting 25mpg. John, Gabe and I all sat there astonished. We made one fuel stop, saw no other Bullrunners and came in... are you ready... 6th place for the day! IN A RENTED FORD FUSION!! CAN I GET A BOOYA!!!

Ford people, if you are reading this contact me immediately because I don't think you know how good this little car is. Seriously, we should talk about perhaps producing some Ford Fusion "MR. ANGRY" editions. I LOVE THIS CAR!"

I drive my car all year. I have to drive. We go out usually on Friday and Sat nights for dinner and a cruise. Rain, Snow or Sun.

Man, I haven't been to a go-kart track in years... (and no cracks about already driving one!)

Yeah, year-round is how we roll here. No such thing as winter tires/cars/roads in southern Louisiana.

Now hurricane season, that's another thing entirely! The last cross-country run I did was for Hurricane Katrina.

Hmmmm.... sounds like good blogging material!

In my line of work there is no off-driving season(maybe if I am good this year Santa will give me some time off....)

Drive my ass off all the time! I always have a sick employee to cover for in my spare time. What's Saturday night?

The Miata is the most fun within 3 days of snow...roads still have a ton of sand and you can throw her around even at slow speeds. The truck gets to workout when it snows... 53 driveways every time there is 3". Even with a half yard of salt/sand mix and a 9 foot plow off the nose she can dance. More BOOST please!!!
