Ford almost did that to the Mustang and then a Ton of Mustang folks bitched and ordered Mustangs so Ford had to re-think the "new" Mustang marketing rather quickly and the "PROBE" was born........sad but true

..and everyone knows the Ford Probe is far superior.
It's GROSS! You can probably thank the 'think tanks' at Fiat for this one. More destruction on the way! I had to order my new Cummins Dually last week cause I'm afraid Dodge will be gone in the next 6 months.
Dodge is too broke to builid a bicycle right now.. You think they are going to dump R&D money into that abortion? Not likely.
It looks like some 12 year old kid did that on his computer. Started with a viper, got all jacked up on pixie sticks, and came up with that. Sorry, no way no how: that thing looks like ass.
If they are gonna make a car and call it a hemi-cuda, shouldn't it at least resemble a cuda? Well maybe they are going for looking like a fish... though this looks like crap that a fish would pass up.
supposely Dodge is not ending the Viper anymore, it was suppose to end before its 20th anniversary, but alot of people didnt want that to happen, so its going to continue
I really want Dodge to combine the viper and challenger, and make a Challenger srt10 like the concept they built a few years ago.

Plymouth is gone forever. So far. The trucks are no longer Dodges anymore. They are 'Ram Trucks' only from now on. Fiat divided the company into a car division and a truck division. I hear the Cummins contract is gone after next year and Ford will get it now. Everyone will have to inject pee (urea) into their exhaust for some sort of emission thing on the Diesels. I wonder how we're sopposed to do that?
The general gist is, if you want something from Chrysler, you better get it now. The French don't like V-8's and believe that nobody "needs" one. I think Chrysler will get gobbled up pretty quick and they will become the North American version of Hyundai in pretty short order.

That sounds like alot of BS(2nd paragraph). They would be stupid to cancel their muscle car lineup. However, i could see them making more 4cyl turbo models. Which is not a bad thing.
Also, whats wrong with hyundai? I've seen a 4cyl genesis coupe at the drag strip with its boost turned up. It was smoking the mustang/camaros/challengers all night long. One guy was even pissed because he lost several times to the hyundai in his brand new SS camaro. A real gut check. lol
A modified hyundai beat stock cars? Color me shocked!!
The only engine currently available that meets 2010 diesel standars is the 6.7 Cummins. It actually met 2010 emissions regulations the day it was introduced... It is the only diesel (at the time) that met 2010 diesel emissions, and is still the light duty diesel engine to meet 2010 emissions requirements without urea injection..
Cummins isn't at the head of the game: they are so far away from the competition they aren't even playing the same game any more.
The "cummins" name is some marketing and some serious technological advancements at this point. If Toyota wants to make a splash on the light duty pickup market, they need to get in on that marketing. We don't know much about "Hino" diesels in this country, but we know a heck of a lot about Caterpillar...
Imagine.. You can buy a Ford / Dodge with a Cummins, or you can buy a Toyota with a Caterpillar.. That would be an interesting market!!

ah ha, except the car wasnt modified that much. I first saw it when the car had been out for maybe less then a month so there was minimal work that could be done. And it wasnt just edging out the muscle cars. it was beating most of the stock-ish muscle cars by about a second and its a car that you could throw together like that for maybe 23k tops(even the base $19k models have good stuff)
I think the people who hate korean cars have to find a new brand to beat on because Its nearly impossible to talk crap when hyundai stepped up to the plate, put all of the japanese companies to shame, and made an inexpensive rwd sports cars that will run like hell with minor bolt-ons.
At the very least we can all hope that companies take notice at what they did. Hyundai made the nice beefy V6 model that goes great in stock trim. And a cheaper low powered turbo 4cyl model that has a ton of potential. That way regardless of which model you choose, you get a real sports car. Unlike buying a turd V6 mustang/camaro/challenger that will always be a slow turd(although the newer v6 mustangs arent too bad)
Let me put it this way... I prefer to buy as much of my vehicle from North America as I can. The more of it that was built on this Continent, the better. I don't even like the stuff on my trucks that was built in Mexico. But at least that's North America too. And don't even get me started about the cheap leftover Mercedez electronics they started putting on my '06 up Dodge trucks!
I'm buying my new diesel now because I 'fear' the Dodge name may not be around much longer and may be headed the way of the old AMC...only with a worldwide twist. They are the only diesel that makes the current emission standards but that is also going to change for next year as Obama (the Obama Twist) throws his own wrench into the system. My theory is that the big bad diesel work trucks some of us know and love will be legislated from existence in the next 5-10 years.
Get ready to embrace some change. Like I said, I'm buying it now.
so you are saying you are not looking forward to a srt-4 ram? granted it may be slow pushing 6000lbs with a turbo 4 banger, but think of the extra luggage space under the hood!!!

wow thats a quite a fail. I meant revive the car and name. Not revive the name on a convertable SRT-4. Thats so gay.
I think somewhere along the drive they forgot what a muscle car is supposed to be.

I was about to say, that's not even a decent rendering, it looks home built to me. Like alot of renderings came out before the Dodge Charger came out.
Dodge will be lucky to keep building the Viper and Challenger.
I've always been more of a Plymouth person myself.
