It comes from their childhood and parents who believe in empty threats instead of paddling their A$$ when they need it. I stopped it one day last year when he 'threw a 6 year old spaz attack' and told his Mom to F-O. Kid woke up about 3 minutes later! I told him that that was a warning shot! The next one would hurt REAL BAD! There are no more '6 year old spaz attacks' at my house.
I actually started vibrating and getting mad when I saw this clip! The kid doesn't need drugs... he needs a good shot in the teeth!
You got that s h i t right man. Kids today have no sense of what respect is, they got the world by the balls, know it all, etc. Problem is the lack of discipline. Everyone is afraid to give it out these days for fear the kid will turn them in on some false charges. I say get them straight while they are young and dont give them any slack till they can prove they know what respect is.
I had a nightmare of a kid living with me and the wife for 5 years from the time he was like 13. (long story as to how this came to be) But, I've been through it all. By the time he came to live with us, it was too late. Just wish I knew this before hand.
When he turned 18, just as I suspected, he moved out. Thank God, cause just a little bit more of his !@#$ I probably would have been in Jail.

I still remember when my sister tried that on my mom, then tried to hit her. So mom dented the fridge with sis's head, and played trampoline on her a$$. You don't do that kinda thing with my parents. If we did something we weren't supposed to, you hoped like hell it was mom caught ya, cuz her wooden spoons had a tendancy to break, and dad's belt just kept going, and going.
One thing for sure - I got nothing but respect for mom and dad, and I'm glad they weren't afraid to discipline.
What the court system needs to realize is that there is a very large difference between discipline and abuse. We deserved everything we got, and the sad thing is that people get sent to jail for trying to raise their children. Discipline is tanning a kids arse for direspecting something or being just plain stupid, abuse is beating a kid up cuz you're bored.
