Goldberg's SECOND visit to New Mexico State Pen?

I'm not sure if anyone noticed this before.. Heck, maybe it has been discussed before.
But, I got sucked into the TNT movie tonight.. The Longest Yard.
In one of the scenes, I noticed the jail (in the movie) sure looked a lot like the platform Goldberg stood on during season 2..

WOW! Nice find there! I've seen The Longest Yard recently and thought that the place looked kind of familiar, but couldn't put a name to the place. I never thought it was the NM state penitentiary. I wonder if that was planned? As a reference or homage to the movie. Anyway, that's a very interesting find! Thanks for sharing!

the longest yard came out in 2005, i really doubt it would have involved a reference for Goldberg..............However there is a recently photo hovering around of Goldberg putting Burt Reynolds in a headlock on a race track, and bill is in his bullrun jacket

Yeah, I thought it was kind of interesting..
They used almost the exact same camera angle for one of the scenes in the movie as they did in bullrun, so it started nagging me in the back of my mind.
Looks like that prison gets a lot of footage.. I wonder how many folks have taken a picture of a certain concrete barrier after last season. :)

I don't picture a prison as a place where everything seems on the up and up at all times.
Especially after all the crazy stuff that went down there.. I wonder if anyone else that has filmed there has had similar experiences?
