Are you KIDDING me? A 2.0 engine?!?! I could deal with the ugly, but still! What happened to the good old 305 - them things could go through anything back in the day! BAH - stupid modernization... Now I REALLY need to go get my 81 back - just to prove that "once upon a time" the Regal was a kick a$$ car.
I think that they should come up with a new name (a stupid one like 'Rendezvous') ('Vougue' works) rather than desicrate the old Regal name. I had an '87 Grand National back in the day. That was a great car! It's really gonna suck when they start sticking GN badges on that POS.

Meh - a slight deviation from the perfect car it was. Same as my car - the 80's rocked for monte's, in the 90's (now that I know better), you don't touch'em with ANYBODY'S 10 foot pole, and the millenium produed a real decent car (xept for the models that kind of blow up if ya hit the brakes too hard)
However, going by that, GM shoulda pulled their heads outta their arses fer long enough to actually improve the model. Also, going by that, once GM DOES get it right, they'll prolly discontinue the model.

And whatever happened to the cars that could get that kinda performance without the super or turbo? Ya, I know gas mileage... but still...
Gm only kept Buick over Pontiac coz they sell like crazy in China... I'm guessing this design and those engines are gonna be awesome for the average chinese buisnessman...

Sadly, both 4 cylinders make way more HP then the old 305 V8 and the Turbo makes a hell ofa lot more torque too.
I actually like the idea of powerful 4 cylinder and turbo 4 cylinder in the baby-Buick.
My issue with the car is which wheels it is powering. If the car was RWD, the turbo 4 could easily be tuned up to 300HP.....new GNX
