BULLRUN III (SPEED)
JUST DANCE - PART ONE
I have been sitting here at home remodeling my kitchen, thinking about the entire Bullrun season and how Team V-Dub ran it. More to the point I am thinking about what I had said on camera. Did I say anything that could portray us badly? You know EVOish? Not that I would change anything, it's in the can in an L.A. editing booth far from my manipulating efforts. So what it is, is what it is. I had a game plan and played the others exactly as planned. Only the editing of the story will determine just what you all think of Team V-Dubs efforts and its strategy.
I am getting a little nervous about what you are going to think of us. A few of you are beginning to pick your dream teams. Will your team be able to live up to your expectations?
Did we give you enough to live up to your expectations? Will you say !@#$ YA! Or will you say !@#$-in tools! Whatever happens, I think that you will want more from us. We all rocked the camera's so well! The efforts that each team put on the camera is going to make an EPIC season no matter how we are spotlighted. I remember watching Andy and David from time to time looking like they had just seen their first set of Ta-Ta's after seeing a special Bullrun moment on tape. EPIC, EPIC!

But, that still leaves me with that blaring question ? How are we going to be portrayed?
I asked Andy that very question. (I mostly was thinking of EVO when I asked it and not thinking about my teams position in the story.) So with everyone around and just before we all were to be released for home. I asked Andy this question, "Well, all that is left now is to see how you (the Bullrun editors) will portray us on the show this season?" Andy stopped and looked at me for a moment, and said. "We only have to work with what you gave us. We don't cut and edit your comments to put words in your mouths?" That was the truest statement I had heard my entire time on the set. True Andy and David had pushed our buttons while we were running our race, but that was over. They had wrapped and could be completely forward with us now. We weren't the talent anymore but real people again. They had what they needed. I remember all the teams around the table that moment stopping and listening to his answer. A lot of mixed feelings were present around that table at that moment, but we all stopped and thought a second about Andy's answer. We were done and going home our roles in the Bullrun world was over. It was the end and still I don't remember anyone saying anything. If they had replied back to Andy I wasn't paying attention. To me Andy's answer rang very crystal clear...
We had portrayed ourselves for all of you to see. Their job was to bring this seasons story together for 10 episodes on Speed. We had pre-framed ourselves on camera. All Bullrun was going to do was grab the tastiest bits and stitch it together. Like it or not we had given them a tune. Now the only thing for us to do is Dance. Just Dance to the tune that we laid down with a little help from a unseen Dance instructor named?
