I wish I had it. The game looks awesome! I just don't llike thet it's $70.00 for the standard edition and $90.00 for the special edition. I think I will wait a few months before I get it. How does the gameplay compare to Forza Motorsport 2?
Graphics are awesome. umm let me upload some pictures...
(i'm the cadillac, this was early in the race and the audi missed a turn and went through the grass and caused a pretty big accident)
In Forza 2 if you ran into a car head on almost nothing happened other than scrapes on the cars involved and maybe some air. I decided i wanted to see what would happen in a head on and went into free play and picked the venyon(yes its in the game) and drove the opposite way of a race...
OH and my car...
So the graphics right away are a big difference...the physics are awesome...they have a rewind feature for single player so if you !@#$ up a turn you can go back and redo as many times as you need to fix it. At first i thought it was a lame feature but when you're in a 4 or 5 lap race and on lap 3 you blow a turn its a nice feature to have to learn that curve better. there seems like there are a lot more upgrades possible this time around...cars that had one engine upgrade now have 2, 3, and sometimes 4(!)...there are so many upgrades that make your car go faster. Tuning...i haven't gotten into it yet but it seems like its easier this time around. I remember it being kind of a hassle to tune a car because you had to swap between the options menu and regular game to change something, this time it appears that you can do it on the fly in test drives. There's a dyno test thats little more than a menu that tells you how fast your 0-60 is, torque levels, etc. still a nice feature to have. This time around cpu cars make mistakes(like overshooting a turn...fun to watch). Career mode is a lot simpler than in forza 2. Instead of the list system in forza 2 you're given 3 optional events to partake in over the course of 2 weeks(usually 3-4 races in that span) and at the end of these events you're thrown into a class restrictive race(so if it says C class you're stuck with a C class car). Oh, the 3 events that you choose from change depending on your car and what class it currently is. I've gotten better paying races for being in a lower class than I had access to at a higher class. I'm guessing closer to stock Class the car is, the better races you have access to(not sure yet).
Oh and gifts are back...i kind of hate them. What's the point of saving up for a car if its going to be given to you? :(
