Snow tires on the AMG and mustang, and making sure to keep the fluids in order and of course a funtioning thermostat, a good ice scraper and snow shovel. And add an extra 30 minutes to the commute up here.

OK, yes, Jeep.  Officially started in 1942, by Bantam/ Austin motorcars USA based in Butler, PA for the military.  As I said before, I've got sometin up my sleeve for the cruises, and possibly S4.

I need to replace a burnt out fog light, put in my winter floor mats, put on new wiper blades and of course install the winter tires.

Does the Rotary have enough power to spin em in the snow???  lol  J/K Mike.

I'm spoiled now.

I've lived in apartments all my life, so I never was able to plug my truck in during the winter. Thank GOD the cummins starts so easy.. I've actually started it in canada at -22* (F) without it being plugged in.. Best part was that it fired without any cranking. Love this motor.

However, last year was the first time I've lived in a place where I could plug the truck in. So I did.. almost INSTANT heat!! It freaking rocks!! The better half is more thankful for it than I am, because she usually has to drive the truck to work when there is a lot of snow on the ground.

There really isn't anything I have to do. I usually put the cold weather grill inserts in. Let it warm up a little more before I leave. Damn I love owning a truck.

I just wish the horse trailer was heated so the llamas, elephants, and turtles wouldn't get so cold when I pull them around. Wait. Whoops.

Already bought my winter tires, I'm going to change my oil and get a new oil filter very soon. Got my brakes checked and are in good shape. I'm pretty much all set to go. When is snows heavily, I have to add another few hours to my commute, and that sucks!

Looking for some new studded snow tires right now.  Even with the 4 wheel drive they come in handy pullin the trailer across Utah, Wyoming and Idaho all winter.  Gotta get the chains cleaned up too.

Hey mdlucky, have you tried putting a small christmas light timer on the plug.  Set it to come on an hour before you need to leave and your truck will be just as warm and you dont pay to heat it all night.

Yup! I have a really nice timer that works great for it. I spoke to a few friends before plugging it in, and they all recommended the timer. One of the guys on nwbombers did a test where he did 1 month without the timer, and 1 month with the timer.. His electricity bill witout the timer was aboutg $50 more. Granted, there could have been a lot of other factors.. but it was enough to convince me to make the $10 investment. :)

LOL to all you guys who have to deal with snow still.  I put up with that !@#$ for 35 years and then came here to Houston.  Boy am I sooooo happy I don't have to deal with warming up the car or work truck in the morning, ice scraping the window with my credit cards, (too lazy to get a real scraper), shoveling, Lmao, shoveling, man I will never miss that.  Snow is fun when you are a kid, but not an adult.  Good luck to all of you this winter...  I think I will go jump in my pool now, LMAO!

We got from having 10,000 idiots out on the roads driving to 2,000 idiots out on the road driving.

Its best when there is about 3 FEET of snow on the ground, and only the 4 wheel drive trucks can get out of their driveways.

We have one Doofass up here with a 'Not So Smart' car. He just gave up yesterday and left it sitting in a gutter. That's funny sh!t!
