Its rare to see DPD on the freeway unless theyre going from A to B. The ones that ususally are on the freeway are either the bike cops or MSP. but even then 15 over is acceptable (depending on time of day).  Usually one of our 2 seasons keeps taffic moving slow. Those are construction and winter.

696 USED to be notorious for speeding - you'd get run over @ 80 when the speed was 65, now that its 70, the cops patrol it "better", but traffic still moves ~80

the place to speed is I-94 Between Jackson and KZoo, then again about 20 min west of K Zoo till the border

I hear in Detroit it is hard to differentiate between speeders, and people merely speeding away from car jackers and drive-by's

I set my cruise at 105 on the Ohio turnpike. That's one of the very few good things about Ohio. It's so flat you can easily see cops miles ahead ;)

From Niagara/ Buffalo to the QC, I only saw 3 cops on the road. We stayed off the toll roads, paying only about $2 in tolls when we had to be on them.

 The last time Bullrun drove through Michigan (2006) I seem to recall EVERY state trooper having his leave cancelled, every exit ramp off the freeway having cops lined up and waiting....and cops with speed guns on the overpasses over the freeway....and then 30 Bullrun cars being hauled off the road.....
