LET THEGAMES BEGIN!
Well, it's been about a week now since several teams on this site went dark. Everyone knew it was going to happen and was anticipating it. However, few could have guessed the amount of teams it would involve.
Let’s stop for a second. I am sure several of you may be sitting there wondering, ‘Why is Rotary Mike writing Aaron’s blog?’ Well, simple. Aaron is on vacation for awhile and Civette gave me the idea to take over his blog while he is gone. Now I am not able to post on Aaron’s myspace, page, but I cannot let his blog/thread die. This blog pre-dates most people (myself included) on the site. The thread about his blog is by far the most posted and viewed thread on Bullrun.com. We mustn’t let it die.
So anyway, back to the update.
Since last Sunday Bullrun.com has become somewhat of a ghost-town. Aside from 10 or so active members, not much is really happening. Sure we are having fun, but one has to sit there and wonder how many people from this site have actually made it onto the show? 2? 4? 6? All 12? No one? It is hard to say and no one here will really know until the show airs sometime this winter. I am sure everyone is speculating to themselves since we have been kindly asked not to discuss it on the open forum. I have put two and two together and think there may a good rivalry/clash on the show if a certain two teams from this site made it on.
Since Andy Duncan stated earlier this summer that filming was to begin September 14, one can assume that whoever the 12 unknown and lucky teams are, they are most likely either on their way or already at the mysterious starting location. The amount of nervous excitement and anticipation these teams must be feeling could only be understood by the 24 previous Bullrun Reality Show teams.
Two things are for certain. Those who made the show are about to have the experience of a lifetime. Those who did not make the show can only sit tight and speculate on what their friends, acquaintances and enemies are doing. Either way everyone is hoping for a strong showing by whatever forum members made the show. Go out there and prove to the producers that the fans can rip it up on the show……Just Don’t Pull an EVO (What ‘Aaron’s Blog’ would be complete without a EVO joke?)
