Well, my best guess why we havn't seen much posting recently is that all of those selected for the final interview process have been told to keep quiet. Most fo the regulars havn't been posting too much. I take that as a good sign.

Last season I didn't know too many of the teams that made the show because most of them were cast based on their video auditions for Season 1. I knew of the Dart and Avalanche for sure, I had a suspicion that the solsice was on (because they posted a message on their Solstice forums saying that ASAP Graphics would be down for about a month, conveniently when bullrun was filming), I also read on another forum that someone saw a black Camaro with a number 3 and bullrun logos on it during the time slot when show was being filmed, so I knew about that team, and I think I knew about the Pantera. That's all though.

I was told from a friend that It's the production code. It tells you where the car was built.
The PT Cruiser is manufactured at Toluca Car Assembly in Toluca, Mexico.
The PT Cruiser was also assembled in Graz, Austria, for global markets (outside North America) in 2002, using the production code PG.
European PT Cruisers built in 2001 or from 2003 onwards are built in Mexico under the PT production code.

According to the PT Enthusiasts web site, the "PT" is also the company's internal designation for the platform. Apparently, the Cruiser was developed along with the Neon, which was built on the PL platform. The Cruiser platform was thus designated "PT" with the "T" standing for "Tall" to designate the tall profile of the vehicle.

I'm starting to really wonder if my posting so much on this site killed my chances of getting on the show. I'm an opinionated person, and I speak my mind. I've just had this nagging feeling over the past 2 weeks that when I called Andy out about using the stunt cars for a challenge in the middle of last season I put a bullet through my foot. As far as I can tell, we never even hit the radar of anyone at bullrun.. And we played by all the rules (length, no music, etc) and deadlines (way back in like March) for our audition video.
I'm not one to let it get me down though. I love the show, and I'll keep pushing a modified diesel for the show. I think we will probably see another stock (or damn close to stock) late model "regular" pickup on season 3. Maybe if I stick around long enough my truck will reach that "classic" status and will be considered... Season 18 here I come!!!

If I didn't book them by the end of today - then that's three weeks vacation gone right out the window, and I'm about 20 days from postal right now... but I booked them when filming's going on, so if I get the call for S3, then I'm still good. B'sides, I still got my eye on an RCI braking system, a hyper tech performance chip, and a corsa exhaust system, so it gives me time to get that happening on my car first! In the meantime, I get to go on a road trip to BC for Vacation if I don't get called - WOO HOO!! I get to take the passes out to BC in my baby!! YAY!

Hey I'm the Postal one around here. My vacation is in, dunno if my MDO approved it or not, should find out today. But I'll turn in everything I don't need for the fan cruise, plus a day here and there, lol. I figure 6 weeks of vacation next year, take a week to hit the Rally starting line, then take the whole month of sept off, and maybe a week in Jan/Feb so Sway and I can get a real vid shot for season 4.

LOL!! When I got six thou US laying around collecting dust! All of the above is about 1/2 what that would cost, and were I to spend that much on one upgrade, it would definitely be the tranny being changed first - I miss my standard!!!
