These days, I don't no anymore, It's a soap opera I guess. Jeff Gordon for some reason really gets under my skin. I don't really no why, he is good driver and all. Now I don't even watch any of the behind NASCAR stuff just the racing. But I guess the one major thing that really bothers me to this day, is when they changed the rules about standing on the roof in the winners circle. I mean come on, that was an age old tradition, It's like taking away the trophy really. then of course they had to change the name Winton cup. Because it advestises cigarettes, well who the hell really cares. Winston Cup was NASCAR atr it's best. It wasn't cigarettes it was pure racing. But that is just me.

I agree on the Winston thing, anf the roof thing, thats just dumb. it wont affect the aerodynamics during the race, so why not. and the same for the Busch series, I MEAN Nationwide series. just because its beer doesnt make it bad, and saying Nationwide is dumb. haha, Jeff Gordon has slowed down alot this year, he hasent even been contending for wins much. I guess what they said last year is true, when a driver has a baby they cool off, haha

well i think nascar has done a good job of chasen away the good ol boys, with higher prices, rule changes. it seams like as soon as big bill turned it over to brian and the rest of the kids everything went into the toilet. 

Me too, he was legendary. he also had a few decades on Jr. I am sure when Jr. is ready he will race like Sr.

Well i look at Jr as another Kyle Petty, now im not knocken Kyle but they both will forever be ib theyre dads shadows. thats just too much to try to race against.  

yeah, those guys were so awesome, but Kyle just cant race like Richard, and Jr is wrapped up in the media. the people kicking ass arent in every other commericial during the race, they would rather focus

if he was going to do anything it would have been this year due to the fact the media is preoccupied with MayfieldS scandel, and other big problems that have showed up this year. and the fact Mark,  Jimmy, Jeff, and the Stewart-Haas teams showing the strength of Hendrick power and design. 

Jr has some of the best equipment out there and still cant get it done.

plus nascars rules have tightened to the point its no longer true racin it who has the best damage control in place. 

Reguardless of the new rules and shadow drivers and and and. This weekend is Watkins Glen and no matter who is the best and what retarded rules the may have no a days it will still be a rad race.

I am a jr fan but he will never be as good as sr. I thank the new rules has took alot of the real racing out of nascar

Ok I am a Kevin Harvick fan, and granted this is a !@#$ty season for us but he is one driver that I respect due to the fact he had the balls to get into Sr's ride and have the same attitude as he did. The fights have all added up untill the media got involved with the standards and said they were acting like cavemen. But Jr needs to get his head in the game, he will never be an icon like his dad but he can do well with hendrick. Now Kyle Busch the ass among Nascar, this guy needs to be fired for all his stupidity and !@#$ty descissions, Just today he rams Marcus Ambrose because he raced him hard, most drivers would shake his hand for racing him hard and clean, but no Kyle he throws a fit cause he didnt win. Kyle Busch is a douche bag...

If your not going to race hard, don't race at all. I wasn't watching today so I really dont know the situation, but I do know this. In any class of racing once a challenger has the drivers door he must be let by. Like I said I wasn't watching any of it so I am ignorant as to the situation. Yes I used the word ignorant and was used in the actual context of the word. It means to not know. LOL

Im kinda split here, theres people that are saying the rules have been tightened way to much, and then he said Kyle is an ass for causing fights. we all likes Sr., and dont get me wrong, but wasent he the most loved/hated driver for racing like that? the good 'ol slam and pass in the grass move to win. I think some of the fights were what made NASCAR what it was back in the day. maybe I would be an ass driver like Busch, but if someone effed my car up Id eff theirs up back, thats racing. Im not a Busch fan, Im a Stewart fan, so maybe thats why I appreciate the tempers....haha

Robbie Gordon tried 3 times to run Joey off the course yesterday.  Jesus, give the kid a break.  He finally succeeded on try 3.  Robbie's car was so mangled by the end of the race.

Kyle and Kurt Bush want the bad asses of nascar and when someone knocks them out of the race they cry like little bitches.

I wouldn't consider JA overated, no one really talks much about him, but name any of the other 43 goons that have wins in Cup, Indycar, and yes, even Top Fuel Dragster. My 2 least favorite things are The chase (pathetic Joke), and JR nation (I like Kyle Bush just because he irritates JR nation so bad.). Oh, and it seems to me that they can bolt the damn treaded tires on and run the Glen in the wet. Always loving that pit strategy, that would have added a whole new wrinkle for them.

Yeah, I have no use for JR nation, but I like jr alright. Just seems a bit over rated. I think his lack of success has alot to do with SR being dead. Pretty much petered out since that happened. I don't blame him. My dad getting killed would mess with me too. Yeah, his brake package seemed to be fine right up to the point when the pedal hit the floor. The Hornish, Gordon, Burton mess was pretty ugly. Glad everyone was ok. I like the three of them. I'm from the same small Ohio town that Hornish is from. I found the really annoying aspect of Kurt Bush and the gutair was the fact that no one seems to have a problem with Pete Townsend making a living out of the same action. Smash the damn thing, could care less.

My problem with nascar lies in the cars they drive.  They have decals that emulate cars like the fusion, camry and other crappy front drive automatic cars that have no racing pretensions whatsoever.   So if I want to keep a part of nascar in my driveway, where is my V8, stick shift, rear drive fusion?

yeah, they have lost the "stock car" part of National Associasion of STOCK CAR Auto Racing. it was alright when Chevy used the Monte, which is kinda sporty, or at least a hell of alot more then an Impala. I say bring back the stock car part of it, they would be racing Challengers, Corvettes, Mustangs, and Cellicas. then the companys would have to do something other than just shipping out logos and getting advertisement for a family sedan

I did, I watched Busch take the lead, and out of nowhere that car turned him into the wall, haha, the front was the unsafe place last night. I cant wait to see the Cup race

didnt see it i was on the road but kyle won lol and he earned it( i listened to it)
