BULLRUN III (SPEED)
Have the teams been picked?
With 38 days left before the shootting is to start. I am using Andys own words about the start date. It could be off as most of the !@#$ that happens in TV land never does not start on time and most of the time is way over budget to boot. I want to assume that we are firm on the dates and look at the "Teams" that might be going.
I know that Andy and David have some clue as to what they want to see in the Third running of the show. I think Johnyb said it best so I am just going to post his remarkes first and then add mine too:
In a perfect world I would say 4 teams from this site should get on the show. But as we all know this aint no perfect world, most of the time it is the complete opposite. Such is life. Aaron, Tony, Rotary, even Matthew, I know he is too young right now, these are the peeps that should get a chance. But we all know the higher ups already have a good idea of what cars they want to be on the show. If they are not looking for a VW, or a Mach 1, you guys are sh it out of luck, unfortunately. So we roll on with life and this great website and keep enjoying and supporting this crazy thing and all hope we all do get that one shot one day. Hey inked, love the song, LMAO!!!!!!!!! And let's hope we do get a few of you guys on the show , because it would be that much more enjoyable for all of us on this site to watch and root.
Oh, by the way the song that is being talked about in the quote is "Holding out for a hero." And its my shake my ass tune. I added it to the thread to set the mood. But that is neither here nor there. But what is important is that if Andy can't picture your car in the show then you don't have a cold cold chance in hell no matter if Jesus Christ was casting his support behind your team or not.
A Producer isn't unlike a god that has power over all and can at anytime inject his or her creative passion into a product. I know that if you have ever followed a production you have heard. FIRE the DIRECTOR! The person saying that is the Producer and they are the Kings of Kings in the entertainment world. Andy is only one of Three Gods on the Bullrun Show.
ANDY - DAVID - BILL are the Holy trifecta on Bullrun. Maybe there is a Speed rep there also pulling strings. (Bet on it)
Those are the ones that will decide yours and my fate for season 3. I am hoping that you have made yourself aware that if your car isn't what they want then to bad. Andy has said any car can make the cut and I believe that but that doesn't mean that the producers don't have ideas. They are creators that are trying to build a brand and Bullrun is a brand. They are going to pick those people that will best promote that brand by attracting those consumers. Its a long shot that anyone can pic the teams this year just by guessing. So I wouldn't let yourselves get all wadded up about whos in. Enjoy the game, enjoy the site and all the great personalities that are around as we get ready for the noobs to return in mass.
I almost forgot to tell you. NO! the teams haven't been picked yet as far as I know. You all still have a chance at being on the show this season. Just get those videos done. Make sure that if you do get that casting call that your really really want to do this. Don't go running to your wardrobe and put on a shirt when things start getting tough. Remember that your going to have to jump through a lot of hoops before the final 12 or 13 teams are picked. Just getting that first call will send shivers down your automotive spine. Put some thought into your attempt your going to get one shot at winning over that casting director. Make it count!
