Yea Mike, Forrest and I did the escort thing for Team GN New into Austin, I was hoping to see some film of my truck turning around w/ everyone wondering what the heck I was doing there lol.
Well, the GN is going to Billy's shop tomorrow FINALLY to get a parts list together so we can get the front end back the way it was before the "incident" in VA
plus we are going to plug up that rear main seal with a new rubber seal, pan gasket, etc. Thats all it needs to be 100% ready for the road. If we get "the call" its also getting a big ass fuel cell in the trunk.
Should be back in action in a week or so depending on front end parts but my friend Tony Racertci has a line on those parts.
Billy is responsible for taking care of the front end repair and Im takiing care of the rest. As Usual.....

Are they going to allow the fuel cell this season. They were talking about not allowing it this go around? Oh by the way the party pictures are off the hook.
-Aaron
PS: Glad to hear that the GN is back under the wrench. Can't wait to see the car back to it's full glory.

If I have to, I will hide fuel in the frame rails, under the back seat, in the spare tire well, wherever theres room.
Remember, if it's possible, we can engineer it !!

Good article! Were there only 24 cars that didi the whole rally? It was so hard to keep track of the teams this year. Some just did the first leg of the rally, a group of about five or six cars including one of the lamborghini's and the superspeeders corvette did half the rally by going until they reached Staunton, then a few more dropped out along the way. Were there only 24 cars registered in the rally? Or was that just the amount of cars that finished?

I dont know the exact number that were registered, but there were cars jumpin in and out along the way. But What I do know is there were about 24 -25 left at Austin.
I question how much some of them paid to participate if any $$ at all for some. It does not really matter I guess, cause I had a great time no matter what.

do you have any video of the Schwab incident? I really hope they show that part in the TV show. Since Schwab is an executive producer for the reality show, bullrun might make it seem like the incident wasn't his fault or they might not show it at all.

I do not have any video but the entire "incident" with Schwab is on tape. I recently emailed back and forth with the camera guy that was in our car at the time. Not sure if I will get a copy anytime soon. Probably not. He does not have the tape, it belongs to Bullrun.
If it ever comes out, I gotta see it.

Team GN makes the news paper, again. Link below.
Most of it is correct, but as papers go, sometimes they get a couple of the details wrong.
