when you're inputing any code (like the ones you've been copying from youtubr to post here) make sure you hit the "switch to plain text editor" before you paste the codes on the forum. "Switch to plain text editor" is right below the text box in which you input the text when you are about to post.

Nice videos so far! A lot of talk about Richard Rawlings in those videos! Self proclaimed "king of the bullrun". He's only not done one bullrun rally (apart from the reality shows) and that was Bullrun Ibiza 2004 in Europe.

you don't need to do that, just send Mike a PM when you post the videos. Giving him your Username and Password would do little good when all he is doing is copying and pasting a source code from youtube to here.

Matt, the vid was taken in Austin at the Commerce Street bridge, Every night at about 7:30 about 4 milion bats come out from under the bridge in search of insects. It is a huge attraction. The bridge is lined with people watching. This was just out side our hotel. Quite a site to see.

He actually did use lights etc quite a bit, thats why we tailed him for as long as possible.

Also, did you notice if there was a Bullrun camera helicopter at any point during the rally? I want to know if the film crew used one this year. Last year they didn't, and the aerial footage is always great for the TV show.

Yea, the bats are an endangered species, Austin is one of the few places in the country where they are still around in great numbers.

Although a couple of facts are incorrect, I'll take it. (87 Grand National, not 86, 2010 Camaro, not a 2009)

Spirit of Bullrun 2009

The Spirit of Bullrun Award was awarded to Billy Groton and Brian Shannon.  These men are truly what Bullrun is all about.  Most guys have a passion for cars - that's a given.  But when your passion for Bullrun exceeds your passion for cars - we notice.  Billy and Brian spent a year preparing for Bullrun.  They chose a vehicle that would make a statement and can run with the best - a 1986 Buick Grand National musclecar and they capped it off with BULLRUN vanity plates.

Unforunetly when Billy and Brian got to Nashville, they came to the conclusion that the Grand National could no longer go on.  Undeterred by the series of unfortunate events that landed them in this position, they headed towards the local Chevrolet dealership and bought a  2009 Chevy Orange Camaro SS. 

It's important to note that Billy and Brian are Bullrun fans of the highest caliber.  They are everyday gearheads who made it their business to be involved with Bullrun and they made it their business to finish Bullrun 2009.  Fortunetely for us, they have great taste in cars and possess the sheer will of champion NASCAR drivers.  We look forward to having them on future rallies.
