if this is true then i will have to really push to get things done this weekend. boyfriend is getting a new co-driver and is makin a new audition video. means i need to hustle and add those finishing touches this weekend!!!!

Oh quit it, you know casting will be the last week of November, and filming will start December 1st.

I heard from one of the reality show teams this past weekend that they wanted to move up filming to the fall because of all the crappy weather they had to deal with shooting so late in the year in 08. Mike from Shelby said the snow was literally up to his waist :P So get crackin people!

According to Solstice they were on the show for around 21 days. Holy crap. I dunno if I could last that long, and I'm rethinking doing the show and just saving up for the main rally next year - it's a lot more fun. I might still make an audition video this weekend just for the hell of it.

Based on your personality, background (Flame breathing Stuntman), and car. I would think you have a VERY good shot at the show. If your co-driver is along for the ride you guys would be deadly.

yes team mach 1 i know my boyfriend very well and he is a goofball sometimes.... you and i know both know his car goes off roading in the snow. the damn thing slides in the rain and snow.

It's not so much the cars handling in snow, it's more to do with the whole production crew having to deal with snow. That's a bitch.

Heck yea, bring on the snow,  I drive the hummy w/ traction control turned on, and I lived in Denver for 7 years.  I'm not Skeered.

I'm with Rotary Mike, cept for the "no torque"thing. Try driving in Calgay, in January, AFTER the Chinook is done. Gets kinda ugly, and more so when the chinook comes back and melts everything so that it all freezes. Snow's OK, ice sucks bad!

Fall would be SWEET though - I could get time away for work, for that!!!!

I don't like Cowtown. Too busy for. As for casting coming up. I don't think I will make the running this year, I have along way to go before I can throw my unit into Bullrun. Oh well

Or where-ever and when-ever. :) I think season 3 is going to be huge.. With the draw of season 2, it only makes sense that Speed TV give them additional money/support. It should be intense.

Ick - you guys get that sticky heavy snow! As much as we can take snow, we don't have to enjoy it! But actually, if ya know how to handle it, slick roads can be seriously fun! Specially when you get the real good fishtails and doughtnuts goin on! Long as you can control it anyway - take my word on it - doin doughnuts down the highway when ya got a Peterbuilt's headlights shining at you one second, and a Ram 3500's headlights shining at ya the next is a REAL good reason to pack clean undies with yer blanket!

Well, I can't say my truck loves the snow but it IS AWD and getting around isnt too much of an issue so I am game for a little snow.

I hate the snow but I looooove driving in it. It is lots of fun. But then again any driving condition is fun. When you got the skill.

I am not scared, if it is in the winter months I will leave the blower off.  The heads and cam combo will more than make up for it.

The Blue Meanie has no problems with cold weather at all - in fact, she gets better mileage.

But snows yucky - SO get way more than enough of that!

Makes everything look dirty..... Even the car, and it isn't exactly smart to wet your car down in below freezing weather - 's prolly what makes me like it the least, I HATE it when my car is messy! She gets grumpy!

To avoid Snow . just stick to states like Florida and other south states where it doesn't snow and where the flag girl car wear the minimum required!

What about a west east itinerary! Santa Monica to Miami or something...

Street Racing and FarmTown - coupla other games too, but those are the major ones.

When you can take a Viper through 3" of snow and slush keeping the speed between 100-160 kmh then you talk.... Traction control, and awd!!!! you might as well have a driver for you!!!

I like these combonations you guys are comming up with, compation at its best, what can you handle, Just a straitaway and all you have to do is hold on, lets try some shifting, curves, snow rain,, test the car and test the driver, that would be a good one. where is your skill or do you just have a car. Very Interesting... Maybe a woods challange and see if the trees survive. Some of these legends was built not only on the car but also the driver and their skill. sometimes you need both sometimes just the car or just a good driver. I will let you guys have the fun and how to really determine best-- car - truck --driver, challange snow, mud, asphalt, dirt, rain and whos the best in those catagories. A real down to earth challange and who was it the car or the driver and whos best where. I see the one guy likes snow drifting and it is heart thumping thats for sure, because your dealing with the elements and ya deal with skill, luck and a prayer maybe and sometimes the vehical means nothing and sometimes it does,, I let this up to you guys with the dough to do it and maybe we will find the best overall driver, the fastest car, the best of each catagory. a real down and out bull fight for the best in the class. You all go have fun now...lol

p.s I like going to dog hollow once in a while just to watch them go over the hill when they get to sure and opps there they go, and they gota get back up and in. lol

I am the best driver in the world for any condition. My co-driver is the second best driver in the world. We cannot be stopped.
