That is too bad about the Grand National.  I love the camaro as well, but the Grand national is the !@#$!

I think it was a deal where they wanted to get the most out of the rally and not worry about the car the rest of the way.

I overheard Andy saying how cool the GN was.  Good Luck in the SS, they are sharp as hell.  Where is the rally headed from Taladhega??  Anyone?

That GN was fantastic! It's sad that it had to go on the trailer trip. I did enjoy sitting in the cockpit at the starting line. Thank you Brian and Billy for letting me throttle it up a couple of times.

I just got off the phone w/ Billy a few minutes ago, had to cut it short as they had some heavy traffic ahead.  Billy said they had a hard time finding people to help w/ getting the tranny out and replacing the rear main on the GN,  I can safely speek for a lot of folks on this site and say,  we would have pitched in to help had we been there.  Good luck to Team Emergency Camaro,

today we got to the final destination in second. only reason we were second was because team lexus's sister worked here last summer, (something like that) plus their family has a condo nearby, and a friend with a boat nearby.  We followed them in..... 

The Camaro rocks the house and everybody loves it. We rode it hard today.

In New orleans tonight, oh, thats right you all know this right.

Heading out at 9:30 am tomorrow for forst check point but do not know where yet.  If Anyone here knows you better tell me via text or twitter.

We have our escape route planned out for tomorrow to get out of here. Talked to a few locals, cops, etc to get the 411.  Hope we can keep our heads together and make it happen.

Its all been pretty intense to say the least. lookinig forward to meeting up with our wives tomorrow and enjoying a nice weekend together.

The camaro is getting it done.  we made four 1/8 mile passes in it today at Mobile Dragway. 

1st pass: 9.02 traction control on  Brian

2nd: pass: 8.80 (tc off) Brian

3rd. pass: 8:40 (tc off) Billy

4th pass: 8:90 (tc off) Billy

Aaron, Watched them come in on a live feed from myfox news Austin it was great to see Brian & Billy finish.  Brian is my brother.  Anyway they got there in one piece and they met their wives and my uncle.  Not sure what place they came in.  This was great to follow them all the way. 

Yea it was cool to watch them come in on myfoxnewsaustin.com. I could not be there but it was fun watching and following all the action during the rally. I think I have found a new addiction. I love it. I will have fun just watching all of the videos and scrolling through all of the pictures.  I don't know what place Team Grand New came in but it doesn't matter. They had alot of fun doing something they love. Love Ya big brother Brian Shannon, Wiskeyrunner. Call us later.

I missed the video :( it sucks cuz I'm at work and everything dang on thing is blocked.

Whatever order they arrived they did us all proud. If a team from the Rally makes the Season 3 it has to be Brian and Billy. If for only one reason....... I will get to run a few miles with this great team.

Yes, its true, Team GN / SS / Team Grand New / Team Grand National did get the Spirit of the Rally award.

It is such an honor to receive it.

Met Bear from Season II tonight. Great guy. my kinda people for sure.

His mother is an attorney in Alabama. Thats good cause I need one for the citation I received along with a bunch of others yesterday that reuires a mandatory court appearance.  Guess whos not going to Alabama ?  ME!!  at least not for that. Greeat state otherwise.    NO  I was not following the rules at the time, but they dont know that.
