Let me know what I'm missing...Is there something that you get for the $20,000 that the "Fan's" are not getting? It appears that if a guy would buy the decal package and stick it on his car, you can hang out and drive with the $20,000 guys throughout the whole trip.  Is there anything exclusive that you cannot do, if you didn't pay the entry fee?

You wont be (at least if you dont sneak in) to any of the exclusive events, checkpoints or after parties. And unless you can get inside info on the route you will have to just play chase with the pack. IMHO.

I think they would mind.  We didn't follow them out of NY City. I know a few fans did but I think they even dropped off after the first leg.
 
I went to Staunton as I wanted to watch the teams check in once just to see that part of the deal and I was half way to the check point after I dropped Aaron at the Airport so driving there wasn't a big deal.
 
Bottom Line is that the entire Bullrun Crew puts a HUGE amount of time into this event and if they choose to let the fans in on some of it for free then we should be gracious that they do and not take advantage of their hospitality.
 
If you want to run the Rally next year start working on getting Sponsors lined up now so you can afford the $20,000.00

Thanks for the answers. After reading some of the forums, It looks like the fans are having as much fun as the Bullrunners. Keep typing and sending in photos!

I was inpressed with how well bullrun included the super fans into the mix. It was nice to meet everyone who drove to NYC for the launch.

Well we are not done yet! The "super fan Panoz" will be in the paddock at the American Lemans Race on Saturday July 18th.  The race is in Lime Rock Conn and we have arranged for the car with all the Bullrun decals on it to be parked next to the Panoz Race Car competing in the race.  The memeories of runnig with the Bull Runners will be embedded in our minds for a long time!  It was great meeting everyone and I hope our paths will cross again.

Dude, I am doing the EXACT same thing when Le Mans comes here in August.  The Mazda Race Team is going to come by my friends garage hte week before the race, then I'll have my RX8 at the race as well.
