Im sure you all know this by now though.

Have a fairly serious oil leak at the rear main seal. 

it is a 2 hour procedure Really! ive done them before on these cars. if we can just find someone willing and able to assist. a lift we could get it done ourselves.  Trans does not have to  come out, oil pan can be removed easily, crossover pipe is the only thing in the way.  got a tenative appt. at a shop for tomorrow in the am.  need the seal and pan gasket. workinng on that now.

We will finish this thing!!!!

Man I wish I was still following you guys! Would love to help you wrench on the GN! I am sure you will get it fixed! Thanks for keeping up the post for those of us that can't be there.

I have an appt. at a GM dealer tomorrow morning to see what the 411 is on getting this thing taken care of. plus I received a text from a guy back home who knows someone at Total Performance Racing Products here in Tenn. that may have a lift we can use. Wating til am to find out.

If it does not go smoothly tomorrow in the morning with getting the leak fixed, I may end up with another car.  How bout a 2010 2ss camaro ? Serious!!  I will come back after with truck and trailer and get the gn. Losing confidence in the Gns ability to get it done without further problems. Its a great car, dont get me wrong there, but we are only half way into this plus we need to get home too.....

ps, Had dinner with solstice and Mike from team shelby tonight.  The Lexus girls are here everyday as well, plus lots of others. All are excellent people.

You and Billy can get that GN to Austin Don't buy a Camaro. You started with the GN now finish with it!

When you get to Austin you can always rent a truck and a car hitch for the way back. Don't give up on the car now.

good to hear brian...yes im still up hahahaha working til 4 am tonight this way i can keep tabs on Team GN to update the family.
