...you may be wondering if I'm dead or not? Hardly! I'm alive and well, and so is the Plastic Fantastic. It's been a very long, busy month for me, with lots of things to do with work and with kids. I won't bore you with details, but basically, life is still rolling along.

So now we are getting closer to casting, and also the actual rally! I can't wait, I will be excitedly watching for Superfans! Sadly, as badly as I want to apply for the show, I won't have enough vacation time saved up to make it. If I were a single guy, or had no kids, I'd say "screw it" and get another job, but I can't take that chance with my family relying on me. Don't fret, though! The show looks like it will be a success, and I'm expecting to apply for Season 4 when it rolls around.

Naturally, I'm going to finish an audition video, not because I will be able to do the show, but because you guys want to see it!! Who am I to let my fans down? ;) To make matters worse, one of my kids managed to somehow kill my good digital camera yesterday, so I'm going to have to finish it up using my old-school camcorder.

I'm still waiting on a local "friend" to let me borrow a pulley tool in exchange for doing a crank relearn on his car, but it's been 2 months, and I'm thinking about getting the tool myself just to have it. Hey, it's just another $100, right? Blech.

So to sum up this rambling blog entry:

• I'm still alive, car's running like a top, just put new tires on it
• I won't be able to make the show due to lack of vacation time and funds for a divorce lawyer
• I will be able to finish my audition video, just because I love Bullrun so much
• The Saturn is still waiting on a few mods, some of which I haven't even hinted at!

We'll see, maybe if I'm nice, Santa will let me get some Bullrun stickers for the Saturn!
