That really sucks! You know, bullrun will likely have extra decal kits with them in New York. Just ask Grace of she can hold a set for you when you arrive. tell her what happened with it not being shipped to you and you may not recieve it in time. They should understand.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!  Just show up, I am sure they will understand.  Maybe we should all bring any extra decals to try to make a small set.  I have an extra badge I can donate to the cause. 

As with any rally, last second drama always seems to happen. Good luck and I hope you get your decals in time. You can always install them on the grid if you get a set in NYC, as I am sure some teams will be doing last minute installs..

I happen to know for a fact that they will have extra sets of decals there.  Ours had a small shipping issue also which Tony and Thersa took care of quickly and we ended up with two sets of decals and instructions to bring the extra set with us Friday.  So I KNOW there will be at least one set of extra decals there!

No matter what happens with the USPS today, make sure you show up Friday!  Tony and I will have extra decal kits with us.  We are overnighting them to the hotel tomorrow.  There will also be extra participant decal sets too, we could just take out the black magic and Pepsi logo and its a fan kit (kinda).  Either way it will all be fine!!

Dude, just go!  I would almost cut off a finger if I could be there.  I'm sure all the other teams will each have extra decals they are not using and surely there will be extra sh it floating around from the Bullrun people.  Just make it happen and have a blast.  We don't have alot of time on this planet and you know you will regret if you don't get off your ass and do it!  Just my 3 cents.

Ted - I have your chips and Kraft PB.  We fans need decals to be able to take the flag with all of you that we are so jealous and envious of.  I can see Bullrun's reasoning thought, my stock car would look a foolish sitting on the start line unbadged.  And yeah, I am stooked just to be there and be able to park amongst all those well prepped beasts.  The thought of having that taken away by the f'n mail company would have sucked.

If you get into town anywhere near the time I do..  get a kit off Tony and Theresa, and We'll put them on together in the parking garage in the gasnveeorrt hotel..    I am talking like 4 hours tops now that I have done my car...

lol, that is the end of my Alero from a USPS truck 4 years ago.  It was January.  Plus, the United States Postal Service doesn't have trucks in Canada.  :P

A Sticker Party? How Cute! 

Wow, just got off the phone with the post office.....again.   So they didn't update my postal code earlier today when I corrected it for them, and they have no idea where the package is other then it cleared customs 5 days ago and should have been deliverd by now.

I feel for all of my American Brothers and Sisters if this is what happens often!

I say, the hell with tracking the package at this point.  You will probably have five guys that have screwed up their own  decals in some form or fashion already, helping out.  All this means is that you will have the best decal job out there as we have already practiced! 

Ill be in town late afternoon mike for additional help applying the stickers if need be.

Was planning on going into NYC early and would be honored to help with the installation of the decals!  Have squeegee and spray bottle (with baby shampoo) ready if you need it!  I was born in Montreal and we Canada folk have to stick together!  Even if there is no "stickerparty" please come by and say hello.

UPDATE - So according to the shipping company, they think the package never left the airport and is still sitting there waiting to be sent to a processing depot.   The guy said this may have happened due to the postal code mishap.  I asked if there was a discrepency, why didn't they contact myself or the sender (ASAP).  He had no answer for me.

Worse part is I work 5 minutes from this customs depot, but there is no one there to allow me to just drive over and pcik it up.

 

I will be bald by New York due to me pulling out my hair.

Update:  So I was passed around to 4 people today when I called in to find my package.  I was finally able to get to a representative in Canada who then passed me on to a case worker actually at customs.   Each person had a differnet reason as to why it was missing:

• Broker is holding it because I owe $18.53.  I told them it is a personal package and how could I have paid it if it hadn't been delivered?
• Then it was that it didn't clear customs.  The tracking info clearly says it has cleared customs.
• Then they wanted a physical description of the item to try to locate it.

Then finally the real reason came out.  They sent a runner into the shipping facility this afternoon and guess what..........they can't find it!  It is officially lost.

They are going to call me by tomorrow afternoon at the latest to confirm this.

Tony/Theresa - Thank you so much fro brining me another kit to NYC to put on!  Also, we will have to work on getting the USPS torefund you your money on the missing package.

 

Sticker Party Friday!  WHO'S IN?   I'll leave Toronto even earlier so I can get their in good time to get the decals on.

It is looking lik it.  I am 'supposed' to get a call from the post office today but I doubt it will happen.  I hope to be in NYC by 4PM on Friday.
