Less than 14 days! Oh my so much to do and so much to do. Wait I already said that...

Well its true and that is just for me. I can't believe what the Bullrun staff and others must be doing to make that starting line. They have got to be busting out the sleeping bags and pounding the Bulls in order to get all the details done. We know for sure that the 2009 Sticker kits are being shipped out as I am typing.

Then there is Pepsi Maxx getting that insane starting party ready for the 75 teams that are going nuts waiting for the official flag to drop. I have a few contacts at Pepsi Corp that are keeping the details hush hush. But I was told it is going to make the Superbowl party I attended a couple of years back seem tame. If they can pull that one off.  WOW, is all I can say. If I remember that night right I wound up in a tent some where in San Deigo in swimming trunks and only 2 hours to get back to the hotel and find my ticket. (Thank you AB and Western Beverage) If Terry is telling me that it is going to be like that.... I WANT IN that was one hell of a party! Damn those Starting Teams are going to be having a hard time shaking it off at the start. But the Bullrun is the Superbowl for high octane automotive fans. So If I can make it to the Superbowl in only swim trunks and a shirt I bought from a vender then they can stumble down a bunch of stairs to the starting line. I was just happy the kick off wasn't until 5pm (still the hair of the dawg helped a lot).

If you look in the picture you can see I am in SWIM TRUNKS! Raiders lost that game.



Lets get back on the subject of time running and work has got to get done.
 
We know that the kits are being shipped as you read this and most of the teams should have them in and on the cars by the start of next week. I asked Tony and T if they could give us a look at them before the official start. I am hoping that they can and will. (I am sure they will). I am also aware that Andy and David are allowing a few hand picked Fans to join them on the starting grid if they cover the cost of the kits. They aren't making a dime on them and are only asking to them to cover their costs. I believe they are $179.00 +shipping and you can order them at http://www.asapdigitalimaging.com if you are one of the special fan cars that made that hand picked list. I have to say Mister Happy! was on that list but because I am not bringing MISTER HAPPY! or CAPONE I didn't make the final cut.  Maybe I will get a set when I get picked for season 3. We will have to wait and see huh?

Then we have the office staff and how that phone must be ringing off the hook. I would also quess that the whole office computer system is about ready to get tossed out the window if one more person asks. Where is my "_______" or Can you do me a favor. Then they must be double checking the swag for this years shindig. While getting the Start/Finish rig ready for transport. I think that gear is alread in NEWYORK if I was betting but it will still be needing set up. Checking if anything broke on the transport over.

Like I always say I don't know !@#$ but I can only imagine the amount of crap that has got to get done before and while the teams are traveling on that adventure this year. So I want everyone to stop and think about the mules that bust their humps getting the Bullrun party to the road every year. We should all wish them good luck and speedy service because they really do deserve a hand for making this happen every year. So Andy and David pay them some more money for godsakes!
