The speedo ends at 120 (and redline is right there, too) so I don't know for certain.

But! Driving a lifted truck at 130 mph is kind of like going down a huge ski hill on cross-country skis. It may not be that fast relative to everyone around you.. But from your perspective, that is flat effin moving. Front end feels real light at those speeds.  

Fastest I've gone in a car was a 69 pro-street mustang. He figured about 170 (I was in the passanger seat). Felt like it to me.

Well, I'm not gonna bother using my current vehicle for this.

Fastest I've been was in a 72 Nova SS with a blown 383 stroker, and that was en estimated 165.  I've been in plenty of powerful cars, including a 99 Ferrari 355F1, 2007 Corvette Z06, and a 96 Porsche 911 C2, but the roads around here are too damn curvy for speed.

This was the fastest I've ever gone in a car. The 160 speedo was burried at one point so I don't know what the actual speed was.

Civette racing a Z06 to around 180.....spraying it all the way lol....it actually seemed to slow down at that speed if you quit spraying...185 shot.....car is a brick in the wind lol

I was at about 210 when I developed a slight vibration, then it got worse and my CD player started to skip. As I was trying to eject the CD I noticed the needle edge past 220. About that time I looked out my drivers side window and saw Danica Patrick, then on my passenger side I noticed Helio Castroneves. I said to myself damn I must have pulled on to the track by mistake and I'm going to be in serious trouble. Just in the nick of time, I pulled off of the track ,barely missing Jim Nabors.

Yeah, if you see the replay, it's around lap 120. I will never forget the look on Paul Tracy's face when the T/A passed him.

 I forgot to add that my wife was complaining about how fast I was driving, and the kids were screaming about being hungry. We were looking for a White Castle at the time.

In the Lumina 135 mph and in the camaro a tick over 160 then the hood left the car and i guess acorrding to my friend behind me it sailed like a kite across the interstate but funny thing is after he stopped and went back for it we took it to his house where we installed hood pins and used gorilla glue to put the fiberglass hood skin back on the superstructure and it is holding fine.

EEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!! I finally got to go to a porsche club meet at the track!!!! SOOOOOO COOL!!

This fella here took me out on the track, and we were up to about 270kph, and we were going around corners at 5 g's, and one time we went around a corner, and he did a little bit of a spin, and we mowed the grass on the side of the track a little,but we didn't slow any past 100 kph even as we were mowing the grass, and he didn't even kick me out when I was asking him tons of questions, and I almost got to go around a couple of times in an exige, and the cars sounded wicked awesome, and the guys in the Wild Rose Porsche Club are the coolest group of guys, and I get to go out for their next meet in July, and it's gonna be an all day event, and I can't wait!!!!!!

As far as gearing goes. I have stock 2.73:1 gears and a .67:1 final drive ratio. The gearing is extremely low (numerically) which allows me to hit 60mph in first gear, over 100 in second, 140+ in third (never topped third out) and the rest for fourth gear. One of my future mods will be 3.73 gears which should help my acceleration and still allow me to retain decent top end.
