On my way to NJ I remembered that RacerTCI was in Pennsylvania,so I asked the wife to find out where abouts and if I would be near.I am thinking I might have interupted her from something as her finding out where was to leave Tony a message saying,Tom is in Pennsylvania.I had just pulled into a truck stop for the night in Brookeville PA.Looked up how far from Racer and figured like 5 hours, just then phone rings low and behold its Tony.It turns out to be 4.5 hours and it was like 10 or 11 pm.Some time in the call is when we decided that this state is a little larger than say ohhhh Rhode Island!!With any luck next time will be closer on my travels

Yeah, Penn is big, and there's not a straight road in it that I've found. Lovely :)

Bring enough to take six hours to get accroos if you are on Route 80 or the Turnpike. More if you have to go from the pike to route 80. Next time your on the Turnpike Tom let me know, maybe you can stop by for a beer or 7.

Pffff, Pensylvania is a pebble.   Now Ontario on the other hand, I could drive north for a day and not get to the end of it. :p

Lol,   my family is originaly from PA and yea it's big.  We now live in Texas so a day and a half to drive across on I-10  east to west.  PA does not seem so large now.  North to south from Dumas to Galvaston I would estimate at about 13 hours w/ no stops at the speed limit or slightly above.

Ya'll neednt tell me. When I go to NH, it takes 4-5 hours just to get to NY from where I am in PA.  That's half the drive...

And if you want to talk about long drives try going from Calexico CA to Seattle WA.Keep in mind that in a big rig the speed limit is 55 in CA and OR
