Fan's have been Invited!

 

If you remember last month Andy and David asked fans (who recieved the monthly e-mail) to contact them about attending the starting party. Well, they have started to send out those invites to some very lucky fan teams who responded to that call.

I am proud to say that I am one of those lucky fans who got his invite to be at the starting line. So I am going to be in that starting grid, lined up with some of the greatest cars and people that enjoy life like no other!

I have known for some time that I was going to the starting line up as a spectator. I had purchased my ticket last month to see them off. Why am I saying spectator? When I told you that I was just invited to the starting line? WELL..... I didn't know that I was going to be able to drive MISTER HAPPY! along the first day and did not arrange for his transport to the event. You have to remember that I live on the west coast and would have to ship the car both ways at this point. Still I am coming to New York and going to be with another Fan Team and riding in his car. (Thanks Tony & Mike)

And not only will we be driving out that Saturday morning with the pack but we will also be sporting the official BULLRUN LOGO'S made by Team Solstice. That is a $200.00 dollar value that Andy and David are giving to those lucky fans who got the invite. I can't begin to tell you just how nice it is of them to include some fans from the BULLRUN site into this once in a lifetime event and make us feel like we are part of that great race to Texas! 

At this time I only know of 5 fan teams that have been invited along. It looks as if they picked some of the B-run teams that are headed to OC after the  official start. Which I find cooler than !@#$ that they would give a tip of the hat to our 2009 fan run!

I have not heard of anyone else getting an invite as of the writing of this blog. I am sure that there are a few more that are to shocked to believe the great news and have not come forward to tell us yet.

But you know the sad part about getting the invite. I am going to have to tell Grace that I won't have Mister Happy in New York and will have to decline the sticker kit. Which sucks because I would have worn them out on the West Coast with pride! There is always next year and if it's a west coast run, Andy is going to have sercurty tow my MISTER HAPPY! off the startline. 



I am a fan and even you might say a superfan of what Andy & David have worked hard for so many years to bring to us. They have an event that is huge and world wide, but still take the time to include us in their sandbox. That is why I keep trying to become if just for a moment a part of that adventure.

Thank you Andy & David and see you in season 3! I just never give up. LOL
