I decided to start to prep the SSR in case the notifications are short notice.  There were things I needed to do anyway.

1.  The problem of running two different sized tires.  Just bought 2 new tires for the front and the backs have only about 3000 miles on them.  I am not a fan of the Goodyear RSA's but do have decent treadwear.  Hopefully no major blowouts and will use the tire repair kit I have and portable compressor.  Also if need be have a 20" spare for the back and a 19" spare for the front.  Hopefully the chase van has plenty of room.

2.  Selecting the tune off of the Predator tuner to use.  I was originally going to use the performance tune but many gas stations don't carry 93 octane down south.  I am leaning towards the 87 octane tune, should help a little.  Sucks that I can't change tunes to suit challenges but oh well.

3.  Price out Hotchkiss swaybars and install.  I have the Eibach Pro kit springs already but the R is heavy and does not specialize in cornering.  This would be my biggest weakness but compared to some of my other vehicles it is not too bad.

4.  Gather misc parts and tools to take.  This is where I am thankful my brother is a service advisor at a GM dealership.  Very mechanically inclined and will definitely be a positive.

5.  Was going to have the body shop take a few dings and scratches out but might wait a bit.  Why do it now when you are almost guaranteed to accumulate a few if chosen.  Hardly noticeable now anyway.

That's it for now.  Thought I should share some thoughts with everyone and keep the interest going until the feeding frenzy of selection time.
