Great to meet ya. I'm more than a little pissed aboutt eh windshield issue still. But it's all fixed now. That is one good looking GTO, pretty damn clean and sounds mean as hell. You would have dominated is ya would have had a little more tire in the rear, I'm sure of it.

if you remember that black sn95 mustang, the one with the same swap as me.....he was spraying the hell out of that car. You don't pick up .7 in the 1/4 by "just hooking up".he should have been in the "A" class for sure.

Like I said on another post, Mustang was fast... I also think its cool how it appears so subtle, but kicks ass.

There was ALOT of misclassed cars there.. that R32 should have been a B class car..  12.1 C class my ass.

 

AND that dyno was junk too!

There was some definate class screw up's. What was your time on the autox?

my best time was 75.3 on the autox.  I drove it too hard, the 3rd run, and I thought we had one more.. but guess not.. LOL

No, I was in a mini van with my wife and kids, who complained that it was too cold the whole time we were there. I did say hi to GTO and met Alsop when we were leaving.

 

Yea my wife and kids were miserable too..  it sucked.  the event was cool the concept was great.. the weather ruined it.

ya sorry steve, i couldnt get it together in time due to having to source a few special order parts, and Im glad i didnt I acutually tore down thte motor again last week to check out a wierd (aka BAD) noise it was making, didnt find anything, but going to try to fire it up again later today-which explains my absence from this site ;)

Mounted up some stickies last night, ripped off a few good runs at Ohio Valley. Night and day from those nittos. I dead HOOKED leaving at 4500, damn near stalled it. My next move is going back to the solid rear, and a set of straight slicks and see what it can do.

I thought about it, but the classes were all fucked up, and it needs to be later in the year or mid summer or some !@#$.. 50 degrees is too cold to be drag racing on street tires.. 

It felt like 30 degrees with the wind blowing like it was.   I am going to try and go again this year...if it's warmer.
