I see. So I was doing some research, and I think I found a worthy competetior to what we were talking about before. The Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo. Its like 22000 and does the 1/4 in the low 14s

a lot of guys are hitting mid-13's out of them stock. Look at what it beat arond the race track n car and driver's lightning lap.
hey guys whatsup. i saw some of ur audition tape earlier today actually. good stuff. hope to see you guys on tv with us.
and yeah my civic runs like a 14 flat right now but it lacks the low end torque that the colbalt ss has since im normaly aspriated. the rx-8 isnt too bad of a car either.

Hey guys -- not everyone hates civics, and of course personally I think it's possibly one of the most fun cars I've ever driven ;) Good luck with casting!
CJ -- Exactly. Ups the torque a lot too -- puts it right in the power band when you shift, instead of just beneath it. The dyno's I've seen seem to show that it ups the hp to around 215-220 too, which would also be nice...
yeah a buddy of mine has it done to his civic. my only complaint is they arent compatable with super/turbo chargers. which i plan on doing to my car by the end of the summer. (supercharge ftw!!!)

True, I'll suggest that to my friend. I just remember taking a right turn and giving it like half-3/4th gas and just being sideways with the revs at like 9000rpm. It was definitely sick, and it has pretty good control through the drift, I'd assume because of the short wheelbase but dang that could get dangerous in the wet, and tempting :D

theres no replacement for displacement......until you hit 6000rpm and 15 psi

This is true, does that mean you're turboing it?

Thanks man, you too. It'd be sick to see two Si's on Bullrun. Any mods?

No mods on the car, yet, but been thinking about a hondata reflash -- you have any experience with them?

I've heard that they're great. But they recommend an exhaust first. (headers minimum)

Should be a complicated install with an orgasmic turnout

definatley going to be complicated. but 5 or 6 hours in the garage is well worth it

Yeah, it really depends on the tires. My old tires made my car very tail happy. But my new Bridgestone RE-01R make it stick like glue.
I learned that this car really needs a good set of tires to get the maximum potential out of it. Unlike my previous cars.
