Imma have to think about it.  My truck tops out at an amazing 55 MPH because of the 4.56 gears, so it may be interesting for me to try to keep up with anything faster than say... a Ford Fiesta.  It sounds interesting though.

There be check points along the way that will allow everyone to catch up and we will provide everyone with the final check point to prior to anyone heading out so you should be fine. If you tag along I will make sure we save you a seat at the bar.

Plus, with 6-20 potentially 'marked' cars it's not like we wil be speeding down the freeway.  I've heard about your American Highway Patrolmen and USA Jails

Ok, Tony and talked tonight and here is an update on the cruise

"After the rally starts, we plan to do our own 'Superfan Cruise'.  We would leave New York after the start on July 11th and drive (along with the Bullrun cars depending on thier route) together down to Ocean City.  There we will be two pit stops and/or pick up points along the way.  These will serve as places for us all to catch up again on the road, and others to come and go from the cruise.  The first stop will be along the New Jersey Turnpike at a rest stop (yet to be determined).  The second checkpoint will be at Dover International Raceway Casino.  There is a ton of places to park here and it is a nice casino we can take a 'breather' at.  From Dover we will continue down to Ocean City MD to party it up BIGTIME and stay overnight.  Then on Sunday July 12th everyone can leave for thier respective homes."

They need to give us Bullrun Stickers for this.. we can !@#$ with da police!  they'd be like damn they are heading east, west, south.. HOLY !@#$ how many are there?

About three weeks ago when I was on the way to Maine to pick up the GN Route 1 between south of Dover DE and Smyrna DE the cops were as thick as theives. I never saw so many on one place. They set up radar on the over passes and had like 15 chase cars on the other side stopping everyone. It was like someone lost a truck load of donuts all over the highway. So fair warning, be careful on Rt 1 in DE going south towards Ocean City MD

I am bringing my panasonic digital camcorder. I am going to pick up a spare battery but I don't know if I will have enough juice to keep it going all day. 

 I will bring my DVD recorder and Digital Cams (2) as well so filming won't be an issue. Just have to remember to turn it on, don't want another missed op like I had in SAN FRAN!   I have also ordered me a couple of shirts for the event! This is going to be fun my friends.

Just so everyone knows they are more then welcome to JUMP in or out here anywhere along the route.

I'm only buying the first round for the @#$%&*^s that make the entire trip. I don't want some sucker dropping in line at 52nd street in an Escort Pony running up to the bar l@@king for a handout.

I am looking at 3 different Condos (near the beach) all under $550.00 for the night. We should be able to get 12 or more into one. So the place to crash won't run more then $50.00 per person. Hotels down there run $200.00 per night with a 2 night minimum.

Couples get first shot at a bedroom Husband/Wife or Boyfriend/Girlfriend or Boyfriend/Boyfriend however girlfriend/girlfriend couples will be required to stay in my line of site at all times. YES! (unless one of them could take me in arm wrestling) NO!

All others need grab some floor a chair or a sofa. So if you are running stag bring your sleeping bag or pillow or both. 

How many people are comitted to going at this point ?  Anybody know yet ? 

I think I will ask my best friend to meet you guys in Dover and then run with ya to OC.  He can show the way if you need. 

Damn, Im as excited about you guys doing this run as I am the rally. Youre going to have a great time.
