Mosport 2009 Season

Hey, anyone planning to go to Mosport this season for any of the events?
I'll be there opening weekend (May 10-12). The RX-8 club of Ontario will be out lapping the track for a couple of pace laps during the lunch break. It is a Mazda sponsored race weekend so we get to cruise around the track a bit.
I also plan to be there the following weekend for the Trans Am series.
I'm sure I'll make it to a few more weekends, including the ALMS weekend.

Guessing that's actually in Ontario? Sad, cause I know how much ya'll want me there, but it's a little far for me to travel...

yeah it is in Ontario. Any good race tracks in Calgary? I travel out there for work from time to time. However, I travel to Edmonton and Vancouver more.

Well - they sorta have race city speedway, but I guess the city is reclaiming the land it's on, so sorta not. Sucks bad - my buddy's big in the porsche club out here, and he was gonna get me in for my first run on a track when him and the club rented it next.
A REALLY good track I been to though is Mission Raceway in BC - wicked awesome turnouts for the races there - the very first time I actually got to watch a whole day of racing when I was 12, and I totally sunburned my scalp - I can definately tell you that there is WAAAAY worse things than dandruff. They do all kinds of races there, but we were there for the muscle weekend - see some pretty sick customs on the track!
