BULLRUN II (SPEED): It's a War of Words! Like it or Not.

Now a couple of weeks ago I talked about "words". They seem to get tougher as the show goes along. This isn't new and you shouldn't be upset with any team for doing it. It isn't wrong to attack someone for how they are playing a game, but it is wrong to personally attack someone. But Like Vegas Bill said "I can't wait until your turn." That statement is a powerful one if you really think about it. Bill isn't saying that he's rooting for you to make the show. No; he can't wait to toss bombs at those silly fools that didn't understand the pressure they were under at the time of the show and played the arm chair general. These teams are getting worn out from the constant pushing that is going on. Bear told me a line is drawn. I didn't know what he meant at the time. But now I understand what he meant. He and Matt were at the end of the rope and they wanted to swing back. Be that right or be that wrong, you can't say and I can't say. We have never had to wear the shoes these teams are wearing.
Team Mustang has gotten sick, Team Solstice also had their share of illness. (Before getting eliminated this week.) The stress is showing up differently for each team. I think Avalanche (Matt) lost it because of the constant pressure being put on them to compete in almost every challenge so far. They are feeling picked on as they should. I don't think that they really meant any real insult to Elvis and Steve. I think they were trying to deflect the spotlight off themselves. Sure, they were wrong to make it personal. But that is one way to play the game, it back fired and only increased the spotlight on them. Leaving only one thing they could do. Yep... They lashed out in a massive way. I know Bear can get heated he's done it on the site from time to time over the years. Tell you the truth that is why I was happy he made the show this season. I knew that he was going to bring that same tension to the Bullrun game. Still I can't approve of Matt's "I want to fight ya" comment, that isn't right and carried that water bucket a little to far. It even looked like the shows filming crew had to step in to breakup the ruckus.
Elvis and Steve seemed cool through the entire event. BUT? Did they toss a couple of gas balloons into the fire that editing didn't show? But even if they did that is playing the game also. You see these teams are trying to win a huge amount of money! Anything is fair game if it isn't in Andy' official rule book. They are there to win like it or not. Elvis and Steve are playing a very smart and controlled game. They know that every team is gunning for Team Avalanche and putting them back into the fire doesn't make them anymore enemies and is the smartest way to play it at this point in the game.
Team Lexus had even thought about throwing Avalanche in for the same reasons. These girls are playing in the shadows but for how much longer? Not to many sacrificial lambs left before they start to get cut on. Matt said it first and the other teams understand it as well. Their time is coming as Teams fall to Team Avalanche.
I enjoyed the show this week and can't wait to see how this fire is going to burn out. But one thing is for sure it is entertainment and I for one am enjoying the War. I can only guess that it is going to get worse before it gets better.
PS: Team Solstice you played a great game and I wish you didn't have to leave the show. But as we all know someone had to go. You guys played a slick game and helped to keep Teams looking over their shoulders. I think the seeds you planted will bear fruit as the end game approaches! Thanks for your efforts for our entertainment.

Show's getting tough!
Yup, this is the part of the show where things are getting hard... tempers flare, words fly, and more teams go home!
Hated to see Solstice go too, but like they say in Highlander, "There can be only one!"
