Hello all, allow me to introduce myself and my ride...
My name is Jarod (Pronounced J-Rod) and my Co-Driver (tentative) is my girlfriend Alison. I've been driving professionally (Not racing) for a living before as a courier, and have alot of experience figuring out the fastest way from point A to point B on a map, not to mention if Bullrun stays in the southwest, I probably wouln't even need maps. I've driven all over from Cali where I used to live, to Texas, Oregon, New Mexico (where I currently live) and all areas inbetween.
My ride is a fully custom 1995 Nissan Hardbody minitruck. Yep. Airride (FBSS) with a 4 linked rear, shaved, and modded to no end. Power comes from a 3.0L V6 with Nismo Cams, Port/Polished heads, Doug Thorley Headers, and more. I built Hades (the truck's name) from the ground up starting 2 years after I bought it new in '95. Hades has nearly 300,000 miles on the odometer and still runs hard. Best 1/4 time was a 15.17 @ LACR. I know - 15 isn't the fastest thing you've ever seen, but may I remind you this truck is on air suspension. Every mod on this truck was performed either by myself or with my hands involved and my friends working with me.
I really want to get into this competition for the fun of it - Money is great, but I want the experience more than anything else. I want to be able to say I did it - I came, I gave my all, and if I had to leave before the finish line, I did my best - That's what it's all about to me. I know what sportsmanship is, and I know what teamwork is.

Might want to read some of the FAQ's and driver profiles and stuff. The staff say they scour these profiles for the next drivers and go with the personality of the person first and then the vehicle...so....lots of opportunities here, just kinda luck of the draw I guess.

I've never been into lowering trucks. I usually like to go the other direction.. After all, fat chicks can't jump. But, to each their own. :)
