Hey! I'm Jason, I drive my loved, and slighty beat up Celica GT '95
I got hooked in on the first seasons of Reality Bullrun, and I post some of the forums and then drifted around a bunch of other rally sites, and i've come to think of it as one of the best types of racing around, love the new site design, and you all have an impressive little family here.
Jason
I guess im also in the ranks of being a nOOb. I registered about 1 1/2 years ago with pics & bio in the 'old' profiles but like most others, never really posted. Better later than never!

I am The Stig
I'm a forum n00b. Yup... never even been to this site before... hehe
I joined the old forum back near the beginning of the forum. Laughed with everyone about the show as it was first aired. Waited in suspense for the next week's show. Blabbed on and on about what was going on. Made fun of the people who thought that the best way to show their car was ready for the show was a drag race. Got into a few arguments, and made some good friends here. I wish I had made the car I was intending to those years back. I would have been finished by now.
Of course, Lately I've decided to make a competitive vehicle starting with as little as possible. With my "$1800 hoe" I might haha. I should have built that Tempest. Oh well... It's good to see some of the old people back in here.
I'm new. Sooo, uhhhh... Hello.
I have a few cars.
69 Chevelle, POS
06 Corevette Black on Black
96 Ford Ranger
96 Dodge Caravan, AWESOME.
and the two that I am most proud of;
76 Datsun 280Z with a Chevy 350
03 350Z with some "mods"
My favorite movie is Smokey and the Bandit. And ever since watching that when I was young I wanted to be like the Bandit. So the BullRun has been my dream. I am trying to actually put the 350Z together for the 2010 race. It will be done well before then but no way to be finished for this race. But right now I am also pitching a TV show to several networks that will Feature the Z as well as street cars around the states.
Some more about me is that I party a lot. Own a few Night Clubs. Drink too much. Travel a lot. and obviously rant for too long.
So that is me, basically.
im trevor, i have been on theses forums , and the old forums since season 1 was on air. although i am probly one of the youngest guys thats been here since the old forums. thats why when i am on season 3 i will be saying get out of my way old people. lol any ways my team is team pontiac, and hopefully i will sometime get on bullrun with my 1971 Pontiac Firebird. so check out my profile if ya get a chance.
i also have a few cars :
1971 Pontiac Firebird (S.D. Trans Am Clone) with a pontiac 400 6.6 Liter small block.
1980 Pontiac Turbo Trans Am Special Edition (Smokey And The Bandit Edition) with a 4.9 Liter Turbo Charged. this car is currently a work in progress. needs alot of work. i might actually take the motor out and put something a little bigger in it. but currently its a numbers matching car.
2000 Pontiac Trans Am ( not a ws6) just bought it last year. 350 LS1 5.7 liter fast car, all stock. does 13 sec quarter mile.
and a 1994 Chevy Silverado, 4x4, extended cab, short bed. 350 5.7 liter. a great pick em up truck.

woot ima newb i just joined today!
Just joined today to check what was happening with the reality TV show. I really liked the first season.
It is pretty neat to see a reality show like this, the logistics and planning to film this type of show have to be expensive!
I guess I was influenced by the movie Gumball Ralley.
Anyhow, just finished building a new 500" stroker engine for the Charger. Should be about 700 HP, but I'm not sure it will run on pump gas like the old 451" stroker (only about 570HP.)
Good luck to all those in the show, looking forward to seeing some good reality TV!
Was on old forum only posted once or twice though. My name is John Dees out of Northern California.
Have Had lots of fun doing different kinds of racing. Never done a rally type race though.

I've been a fan of long-distance driving since I was a kid. After reading Brock Yates' book, I was pretty much sold on the idea that I wanted to try it. I recently stumbled upon the Bullrun TV show, and have been fascinated by it (though my wife says it's crass... that's part of my fascination).
I will proably do some more local "runs" for fun and get some more miles under my belt before I try anything like this. My ride is a supercharged Saturn Ion. Yeah, I know, it sucks too... but will top out at 150 MPH and still gets 30MPG at 90MPH. It's a fantastic road car, if you can stand the little buzzes and rattles of an economy car platform. When I'm done with it, it'll be pushing close to 300HP.
I love all kinds of cars... for all sorts of reasons. I love to drive, and Bullrun just might be my ticket to ride.

New to the site, new to the forum, but this old guy is still a kid at heart. It takes me a while to get my projects done, but I have always had an odd collection of stuff. From the 73 Laguna {when everyone else was doing 68-72's}, to stuffing a 460 into an LTD II Brogham, to a Mazda Rx-7 that ran so much fuel that flames litterally shot out the exhaust, I've always been on the outter fringe of things and had to do things my way. Stock is boring and normal people scare me.
Current car is an LS-1 powered Miata. Go ahead and call it a chick car if you want. this thing is crazy fast and will out handle most anything out there. Best of all, nobody expects it to be fast... then I roll into it in 3rd gear. BYE BYE! Tires are just rim protectors now.
LS1 in a miata must be crazy fast.
Hey,
Hope you all let me come out and play some day!!

hey whats up im new to the forum dont laugh when i say 380hp 81 chevy truck. im a drag racer at heart but have had a niche with handling street cars. other projects include 78monte carlo, 87 camaro with t-tops but is always under progress. but the truck is bullet proof and can turn some heads on any corner or straight line. it just took alot of weight reduction on the short bed including 5way mr2 bucket seats a 350 bored and d stroked with a 302 crank 6.2 inch rods and 58cc heads, and more mods coming. hope to see you out there and will have pics after the paint job and another 500lb weight reduction.
Paint it like the Fall Guy's Pickup!

hey thats better than the last answer of my body man that thought we ought to put a sling on it and use it for repos and leave it looking the way it is
Alright then, well, new guys...that's me.
I think the 'Bull Run' of today is not much more than a bunch of people with way too much money out to get people to tell them how great they are. So, not so impressed.
I do appreciate nice cars, although, even when I had the money, I just couldn't bring myself to spend it on something that depreciates daily. My father was a Master GM mechanic. We built my first car, a 1957 Bel Air together. We raced with Gene Snow, Cha Cha, McEwen and Prudhomme, Big Daddy, Kalita...all those guys in that era.
I'd rather sit around with a bunch of regular guys talking cars than drooling over some Saudi punk's Ferrari, which he'll wrap around something sooner than later.
I'd love to be on the Reality Bull Run, but it seems all they take are whining, psychologically screwed up celebrity wanna-be's and idiots that think saying "...to the next level." somehow makes them all cool and !@#$e. If I had a time machine, I'd go back and find the first moron that even thought about saying that and club him to death like a baby seal. And I don't think they have the balls to put a Chevrolet Cavalier in the show...even though there's more of 'us' than there are Porsche drivers, here, in the states.
I'm not in the least bit PC. I speak my mind and don't care what you think. I hate ignorance and tolerate stupidity, because, well, it wasn't your fault...that's genetics.
I currently own 4 j-body cars. Two Cavaliers and 2 Sunfires. My 2000 Cavalier is supercharged with a forged 600HP internal build. I love to drive it however, so it puts out a mild 240-some HP with a comparable amount of torque on the 70-shot I run on the street. She has been run with a 200-shot...once. High 11's. Then I ripped them out and sold them.
You guys have some fantastic autos and are very knowledgable. A good group to belong to. I still hate my brothers for stealing the keys to my Corvair Monza, then slamming it under the rear-end of my father's 5-ton dump truck.
Anyway, glad to be here. I can't wait to take this site to the nex....nvm.
welcome to the site...

Hi all. Very new here. I have only the sport grocery getter. I have made some small mods but the kid comes first (wife too).
I have a love for the drive...to anywhere or no where.
I may not check in very often as I am a member of so many sites. I would like to be on the show if they would take the Police Interceptor we would enter. My driver loves the Crown Vic (his second). We have changed, replaced or modified almost every inch of the car. We are looking for a 4.6l 4 cam for a swap or maybe a supercharger to add to the current bullit.
See you later
