Nuki here,
So we've changed names and co-drivers. If you've read my profile, you'll probably know that my new Co-driver is Bruce Chang, a fellow Z enthusiast and soon to be a sworn in attorney. My original co-driver couldn't make the run because of work comittments, but Bruce is a great guy and loves the Z every bit as much as I love mine. After he finished his Bar exam, he took a road trip across the States with his father. He has quite a few videos chronicling his journey. Part of the reason I asked him to co-drive is because I know he has the endurance to do long distance driving.
The video is nearly completed, and I expect to have the rest of the filming done tonight. Hopefully tomorrow, I'll have it up for you guys to view. Like many of you guys, the Z is having last minute work done on it as well in preparation for the Run, assuming we get that far. Sean, from Team Z can tell you, Z cars are built around awesome handling off the line, and I'm adding a few things to enhance that. The Z was originally intended to be a show car, so I first concentrated on making it pretty, but I added some go fast parts and handling at the same time. Hopefully, you'll get a chance to see all that in the video tomorrow.
I truly look forward to meeting you all in LA, I know it's going to be fun and the competition will be fierce. The best thing I know to do, is to promise you all that I will be good competition for you, and will give it my very best. Competition is no fun if there's no challenge, so like the rest of you, I will give it my all.

Dang, I waited till the end of the day yesterday to film, hoping and praying for some sun and the wind to die down, and here it is today, wamer, and no wind.
BTW everyone, don't laugh at the workout section. I told Skyler to zoom in on me so you couldn't see the puny 40'lbers I was lifting. That was the heaviest they had in there. John told me the vid looks good and hopefully today, I too find out if we're moving up the food chain.

You too. I hate to admit, but alot of my last minute mods are waiting to see if we make it further. I just don't have the money right now to waste if it's not going to be put to good use. Fortunately I can justify the money spent if its for this.

Thanks bro, you too. To Rebs team as well. I would truly hope to meet you guys in LA, if anything to shake a few hands and say thanks. The old forums were often a nice sanity break whenever things got hectic in Afghanistan, and many of your comments made my days a little more bearable. I feel I at least owe you guys that much for helping me not lose my mind back then.

LOL you guys are awesome. I wish John would call me back. He said today he was presenting my video, and that he'd tell me yes or no. I'd rather hear a no than sit around hoping, so he said he'd at least do me that favor. So I guess no news isn't necessarily bad news. Anyone get the call from John yet today?
They're all on Cali time frame, so it's not yet 3PM there yet. Chill.

True, only 3pm there, and I expect as the show gets closer, he (they) will probably be working longer and longer. So I wouldn't be surprised to hear from him later tonight, or heck, maybe even on the weekend. So like I said, I'm not taking it as bad or good news. But as soon as I find out, I have quite few things I want to do to the Z before the week ends to make it a bit more of a solid competitor. You guys are all pushing alot more hp/tq than I am. =)
I agree Nuki. I hope I at least get a call saying either way. I'll be wondering and going crazy all weekend.
