Hi everyone,
New to this forum, just wanted to say hi to everyone. We are gathering information to see if we want to run the late 09 event on the West Coast before an all out assault in 10 on the main event. This vette, is fast, stops on a dime, and handles like a dream, just don't know if it will stand up knocking down gates, and jumping ditches in a single bound.
More info on both cars in the profile and signature. Any help, suggestions, warnings, advice, all welcome and appreciated.

Welcome to the site! Nice vette!

Welcome.

Hey Guys, thanks very much, appreciate the comments and welcome, I do love that Vette. What do you guys and gals think about this:
OK Bullrunners, if the bull run was held on the West Coast, how would you guys & gals like the following:
90 miles of closed 2 lane highway in the middle of the State of Nevada, where you can run a high speed section, say, 130mph AVERAGE and up, with a dial in time. The winner is the one closest to their dial in average over the 90 miles.
Its true, has been done out here for 20 plus years, at least twice a year, sometimes up to 5 times a year. There are parts that are 15 miles dead straight and you can just pin it. Given enough notice (6-9 months) I can arrange it, make it happen, be totally legal (now theres a concept), arrange GPS timing down to the 1000/sec, and heres the best part.........
The local sherriff actually welcomes you and endorses the event.
If you think this should be part of the Bullrun get this to the management.

Welcome. That would be sweet. I'd definately be put in the challenge if that were the case. lol. My car is meant for acceleration, braking and handling, doesn't have the top speed to compete against some of the cars out there. I guess I would be the VW Bus though. lol.
