I get chills when I see any car wreck... that was intense. Evo boys bit the wall hard, though I have to admit their "Oh Crap" faces were beautiful... stay on the track, guys!!

I felt totally bad for Dart, as most of us can probably relate to what his dad was feeling before he wiped out, felt like having a little bit more fun and it turns to bite you in the rear.

As for EVO, i wouldn’t wish that on anyone's car. When I saw him go through that fence and go straight... the camera angle gave way what was about to happen (airborne); the resulting concrete barrier was just a bad ending for them. Reminds me of this time where II saw a very nice modified Jetta at an autocross (Ft. Knox Airfield in KY) get off the taxiway and go down the grass embankment ... there were some nasty hills at the base. The driver got airborne and did almost the same thing... Smoked the front end and airbags discharged.

The difference between the EVO and the DART at least for me is built versus bought. I built & bought many cars over the years and the one I’ve built mean much more to me emotionally then the ones I’ve bought or had other work on. There’s something to be said for spending hours, days, and months working on a car. It becomes an extension of your personality. Something that you created versus paid for.

That was so gut wretching to see the Dart in a Frolick of mayhem. I know you guys will get it back up and running again!!! Hopefully it hangs on for the next challenge. Crazy season that's for sure!

That evo was built up too, but i dont recall if either of those guys built (modified) it themselves. Obviously the Dart had a lot of man hours and some good ole heart and soul put into building it. Hopefully they got it back on the road for next week's show.

The EVO had brakes and a couple of minor mods added on from a speed shop in Cali. They talked about it over on the EVO forum. I think those guys wrench about as well as they drive.

Paul & Tony built that dart all by themselves.

I could never wish something like that on anyone..... I hope that the dart comes back, not just for the show, but I hope you get it back to where it was.....

weird how he wrecked it afterwards he barely drove the car in the challenge. nothing like putting around the course.

He drove it close on the challenge not really going for it. I thought they were going to lose out right.

 What happened  to Team EVO, I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. They may have been jerks, but they're still human.  All the teams want to win...

Team DART, I felt sick to my stomach after seeing what happened to you guys. I'm glad to see everyone (including all the guys who were eliminated in the earlier episodes) chipped in to get you back one the road.

It's been said a lot in this thread, but man, when I saw that car roll-over, I felt horrible.

 

The EVO's accident was bad too, but that car should be fully insured (maybe not due to how it crashed) and at least replacable.  A Dart is not so easily replaceable.

The dart hauled butt through the challenge.  To me it looks like they slowed it down for the episode.  If you watch it again watch how slow the explosive is.  It kept all the TV viewers on the edge of their seats that way.

When the dart rolled we were on the other side of the prison and we just saw the entire production staff take off running.  We were told to stay there for a good 20 minutes.  It was so stressful not knowing what happened and wanting to know if everyone was ok.  By the time we got over there and saw it, my jaw just hit the ground.  I don't wish that on anyone, just thankful nobody was hurt.  It could have been bad in both situations.

If you are talking about the Dart rollover, no it wasn't caught on video just still camera (those are pics in the show). Also, the Dart didn't hit a concrete barrier like the Evo hit, that is being said on the Evo forum. They hit a curb next to the road.

I think they need to show less in the commerial spots. Guessing who's out prior to the show airing is really been easy up to this point.

That challenge did look really hard on any car that had a lower profile ... I know my Merc woulda been dragging something on that challenge ... If i made it on season three, i think i would have to adjust the suspension a bit.

I think my cooler would be wripped off in a challenge like that...

When I saw it I was like WTF! I felt bad for them....I also said oh sh$t when evo hit the concrete....and I can understand how they were feeling, however I think it was bull!@#$ not to be there on the podium and even worse to be blaming the show.  BULL RuN didnt make them deviate from the course, Bull Run didnt make them screw up the driving legs......I feel sorry for team dart.  I wish them the best
