I asked you too Elvis directly in the interview (with myself, David and Kristi from casting as well mate how you felt about damage to your car challenges.....and did you not read the forms you signed? lol
Markus knew too...... that's why he brought his Ferrari, he wanted to bring his Aerial Atom but we wouldn;t let him as we told him it was too dangerous for challenges and also difficult to film in.

Ah, so Markus brought his junk car. ;)
Do teams/drivers ever have a shot at returning to Bullrun? With a different car? Co-Driver? Or not since it'd take away a spot a first time Bullrunner would potentially have?
We may do a season of Bullrun with 'fans' favourites vs champions etc... but we probably won't ever have people returning from previous seasons into the existing format of the show and takling on new guys... that said I guess we could always change our mind..
As for the grand prize... during the show all the teams joked about getting 200k in Black Magic and Power Flares but a few of us teams posed the question to David Green and he confirmed that the 200k was a cash prize plus probably some non-cash prizes in addition.
Like a pony?? :P

So, Do you live in L.A.? I used to hang out in East L. A. at a friends' grandparent's house, and that is all I saw. My hubby has a 62 Chev Impalla, hard top, SS. I've got a really simple equipment/tools/tunes question.
What are the racers allowed to bring with them? Can you pack away as many tools as you like, or does bullrun provide the tools? Once you make it to the challenge, can you dump your cargo before you run, or does the car have to stay the same as it ran during the day?
Last but not least, how about changing engine tunes before the challenge? Are those folks with EFI live or downloaders allowed to run 1 tune during the leg, and then switch to another before the challenge starts?

Andy, is it Bullrun who is responsible for all the ads on SPEEDtv or SPEED themselves. I've never seen so many ads for a show in my life on a TV network. Every day I see at least 3 Bullrun commercials on SPEED.
Also, in the last episode we saw the black Magic guy, Aaron Kauffman. I'm a huge Bullrun "nutjob" as you might say because in Bullrun 2008 at the start line I chatted with Team GasMonkey's Aaron Kauffman. Only difference is, now he doesn't have as much hair. Is this the same Aaron Kauffman as in Bullrun 2005-2008 (Gas Monkey Garage)? Just curious.
I want to thank andy for all the good info he has put up on this thread.
As far asTeam EVO goes, I firmly believe that if you think your going to walkout of here without scratching your ride, then you need to let the real world people stay and play on the show.

I too am curious about this. My car has a few minor imperfections (few rock nicks, etc), but ya know my car is a daily driver.
I would hate to have to spend $$$ on a paint job only to go out and tear it up on the show. I'd much rather get the new paint job afterwards for the promo shows and photoshoots and whatnot.

I've been away from the forum for like 6 months, so forgive me if this has been answered in 100 similar threads already lol.
What options are there for future season routes. Now, I love the southwest. Most importantly it must work out well logistically for many reasons. But we've seen, granted not the exact same roads, but many of the same states as season 1 so far. Contestants are going to wise up and prep for the likely area.
I'd like to see something like following old route 66. That would be bitchin'. (Of course that'd take us right back to the SW, but bitchin' nonetheless!) Or go to the midwest and east, there's a ton of racetracks the tour can go through: first stop is at Blackhawk, then to Road America, take the north route through upper Michigan over to Gingerman, then off to Indy, Mid-Ohio, Watkins Glen, etc.
Also, can we get production scheduled into warmer months! I mean, what good are the flag girls if all they can do is stand shivering in winter coats? lol :D

As to the registered owner thing, when Team Olds was pulled over in season 1 they said the car was registered under their father's name if I remember correctly. But that may have changed.
Also, Mike and Spiro co-own the Mustang-- but when they originally applied, they applied with Mike's Nissan, and Spiro was said to be the majority driver.

What happened you your car that you used in season 1???
Did you know that Evo was a dumb-ass when you casted them?
The SSC Aero used as the hero car in season 1 is now the fastest production car in the world....
I knew the Evo would be 'tv gold' when we cast them, that's why they got in the show! It was obvious to us at least from the minute we met them they would clash with the other guys on the show (and each other). The irony is that Jason and Chris think there's some wierd conspiracy from the production to get them out of the show, when I would have LOVED them to have got even further in the show, they were absolutely great for story in the show..

Hey Matt, Speed are responsible for all the promos they run on their network to adevrtise the show. The show is doing really well for them so they want to keep ramming it down everyone's throats, we're not complaining! It states on the entry page that you are using your own car. EVERYONE that enters a casting tape knows they are using their cars.
If anyone says anything other than that tell them to shove it!
You don't enter the Bullrun and not expect to drive the hell out of your car. Damage is expected. That's part of the fun of the run.

I don;t care about the condition of the cars....just the drivers.
let 'em loose in NYC and see who survives! haha

What about my questions Andy?

Hey Andy!!!
NYC won't survive if I get stuck going through there!
Don't fence me in, man!

"There were no cops, no trees, no humans of any kind so we decided to wring out the little Ford. For 47 minutes straight the Fusion was pinned at 111 mph with the A/C on getting 25mpg. John, Gabe and I all sat there astonished. We made one fuel stop, saw no other Bullrunners and came in... are you ready... 6th place for the day! IN A RENTED FORD FUSION!! CAN I GET A BOOYA!!!
Ford people, if you are reading this contact me immediately because I don't think you know how good this little car is. Seriously, we should talk about perhaps producing some Ford Fusion "MR. ANGRY" editions. I LOVE THIS CAR!"

Hey Matt, Speed are responsible for all the promos they run on their network to adevrtise the show. The show is doing really well for them so they want to keep ramming it down everyone's throats, we're not complaining!
I'm beginning to think Matt you may be the ultimate bullrun 'nut job'...lol...it's the same Aaron from Team Gas Monkey (with less hair and minus a moustache).

You only find this out for sure when you get on the show!

I want to thank andy for all the good info he has put up on this thread.
As far asTeam EVO goes, I firmly believe that if you think your going to walkout of here without scratching your ride, then you need to let the real world people stay and play on the show.
I'm 50 and been building cars since the early 70s. Build them, Race them, and not all the time but I have Wrecked them. Life goes on. Build another one.
No worries, I try to get on here as often as I can.
Team EVO - I mean what can you say...where do you begin with these guys?
I thought he looked and sounded familiar! Thanks for clarifying this for me Andy!
So SPEED is responsible for all the ads. Are you guys still responsible for making the ads? Also, Giant Film & TV, are they the ones working on the show? I know the zerodb facility is located in London (I'm a big Cops, Cars and Superstars fan too you know!) How in the world does Goldberg do the voiceovers? Is he in London too?
Thanks for answering our questions Andy!
