Here's a question that I'm sure everyone has on their minds.
Will there be a DVD for Bullrun Season II? I know Giant Film&TV is involved in the production so the show and affiliated rights belong to Bullrun/ Giant Film&TV. I know someone already asked about season 1, but what is stopping you from releasing a DVD, you have a decent sized group of people who would buy a DVD the second it pops up on the Bullrun store.
What about Cops,Cars and Superstars IV and V, any chance of them being on DVD any time soon? What about for download? I've seen all 5 seasons on OLN (Canada) and It's my favorite show. I have ALL the Bullrun DVD's to date and want MORE.
Thanks again Andy for taking tome to connect with the fans! You've probably got one hell of a busy schedule and it's really cool to have you here! We look forward to the next episode!
Bullrun own the rights to the show, there will be a DVD once we strike the tright deal with a distributor - the same actually applies to Cops, Cars and Superstars IV and V.
First off, thanks for your time Andy. Not a question really more of a Kudos. We understand that trying to determine what makes it into 40 mins of show and what gets cut is an agonizing decision but many of us love the cast of "characters" you have selected for Seasons 1 and 2 and would gleefully shove skateboarders into traffic to get our hands on some of the un-aired content. If a distribution deal is reached will the DVD contain little nuggests of bonus for us?

Andy, have you got the Bullrun Shelby back from the repair shop yet? What was the repair bill?
First off, thanks for taking time to answer all of our annoyng, sometimes sesnless questions. To everyone else, thanks for asking every question I was wondering about.
Is it true that you told the contestants that they would not be using their own vehicles for the challenges because of what occurred in Season 1? But then when they got on the road you told them that they would be using their own vehicles? This is what Jason on the EvoM forum claimed happened. My second question is, Jason also claims that you tried to set him up by calling the cops as a "concerned citizen" saying they were driving reckless around town. This was in hopes of catching them for good television footage, but instead Teams Camaro and Corvette were pulled over. He said another team informed him that you made the call. Both of those stories seem really fishy to me. I used to believe them but some people on here laid down arguments against them and now I am not completely sure. I do know Jason is not giving the absolute truth though. Could you clear things up for me? Thanks,

I think Markus may have heard that too. I dont think he'd have ever signed on if he thought there was a risk of him scratching his baby.
Imagine him in some of the other challenges.
He'd have made Yolana towel off before getting in his car in the jetski challenge-- regardless of how entertaining she was on said jet ski.
He'd probably have gotten out of the car and opened up the gate himself in jail break, so he wouldnt crash through it.
Markus was not destined to win Bullrun. ;)
Very true. I would have cried if he wasn't eliminated yet and was put into that last challenge with the prison. That would DESTROY his car. All the gravel being thrown up at the paint would kill me. I would never put my Ferrari through that. I would walk off set right then and there. I'd have no problem breaking the contract and just deal with the consequences later.

You kiddin' man? You can make fun of Ferraris and their drivers all you want! It's hilarious! I saw a video clip on the Bullrun part of the SPEED website, and I think it is Steve that is making fun of Marcus and Yelena when they are out practicing with the Ferrari. "Daddy, I want you to buy me a shetland pony" haha. I used to think all Ferrari owners were cocks back in the day when I used to own a C4 Vette' before I owned the Ferrari. In fact, a lot of Ferrari owners I run into still are jerks towards me even though I own one now. There are a few cool ones though.

In the first episode we see so many teams looking for a map and it just seems like they would have thought to include an atlas in their supplies.
My question is: are you allowed to bring an atlas with you prior to the first leg of the run? Or do you need to stop and get one during the rally?
They're not allowed to bring one beforehand, but even if they stopped and got one, think about the places they were going... if you pull out an atlas, do you think it's going to have "Old State Penitentiary" in big letters anywhere? Some of the towns they stop in aren't even on the map. I believe Elvis said it was extremely tough because the atlas didn't cover the small county roads they were on in some places...
Thank you for the time you have put in, answering questions. Just like on the original Bull Run site, you have proven your love for this show, and the people who love it. There are many "Bull Run Freaks" out there, me being one, and we are so glad that you took the time and energy to make it all happen, again. We are looking forward to season 3, whether or not we are cast, as it has turned into some of the best entertainment on Television.
My question for you is simply one on contract. I know Team Solstice and VW, as well as many of the other, have mentioned that they are not allowed to discuss too much until after the shows air, but I was wondering if they are told this before they finish casting the show, or after they cast the show and have the teams sequestered? It seems to me, that anyone applying, would know that you sign a lot of contracts in regards to not only the show, but their cars, insurance, etc. If Team Evo was made aware of this, as I am sure that they were, breaking contract would not bode well for him right now. You have your own element to deal with there. However, from what I have seen, the slander on his behalf, is something you have in your favor...bad press brings ratings. Have you considered a gag order in order to keep him from continuing his tirade, that has, so far, proven false?
My CD said they were going to use substitutes (other teams who want to talk about can say if they want) - Someone asked on the site about insurance (I think it was Team Mini . . ) and that's when we were all notified . .. I posted that we weren't using our cars for the challenges -So Lloyds of London insurance wasn't necessary - Team GTO checked with his insurance company & found he was covered so long as traffic rules were followed - Then Andy posted that we were driving our own cars .. .
If you weren't active on the site, you may not have known - I'd never heard of Team EVO or Strange before the end of the filming.
But that was also part of the deal the original group of prospective contestants - "join B-Run & be active on the forums" . ..

Oh no doubt, I'd rather hasve an atlas than not have one, but it will only do you so much good, and won't give you a "huge" advantage over the other teams.
Ferrari- I understand, kind of like the !@#$ I'm getting from the Corvette community now... Apparently I don't bode well with the typical blue blooded Vette owner. Aw !@#$ 'em!
Yes we were allowed to hang onto our maps through the competition.
As for the grand prize... during the show all the teams joked about getting 200k in Black Magic and Power Flares but a few of us teams posed the question to David Green and he confirmed that the 200k was a cash prize plus probably some non-cash prizes in addition.

Yeah, I get the same $#@! in the RX-8 community. A lot of the guys look at me sideways when I say I like American cars. They can't understand how I could of possibly owned 3 of them previously. Some people are such elitests

If you think the Mazda boys are bad when it comes to other cars, wait until you meet some of the hardcore Ferrari geeks. They won't even consider talking about a car unless it has the Cavallino Ramapante badge on it. I like Ferraris as much as the next guy, (putting aside the fact that I own one) but sometimes I also want to talk about some of the new modern muscle cars. (2010 Camaro, Challenger, Stang, ZR1 Vette' etc.) and these guys look at me like I just came out of a trailerpark. This is why I started going to some of the more low key car meets around my area, where there are tons of different cars and personalities.

[Quote Jnxd1] nothing wrong with volvos. I've had 3. a s70 for myself, and my husband still has a 780 and a 240. The 240 he mod'd from 115hp to about 400 (turbo'd, stroked, nos, ms etc). Was a fun sleeper.
You guys think you got it bad?? Try having an always color changing mowhawk, piercings, and tattoo's and drive V O L V O. lol
It's ok, I still talk to them even thier normals....
HEY! you think you got it bad in a V O L V O? I'm a Mexican that doesn't drive a lowered Chevy with an airbag suspension, huge rims, my last name tattoed on my back, and a sticker with it on the truck as well as not listening to mariachi music! I'm the opposite! I drive a LIFTED FORD lol
So, Do you live in L.A.? I used to hang out in East L. A. at a friends' grandparent's house, and that is all I saw. My hubby has a 62 Chev Impalla, hard top, SS. Believe me, if he had that car in L.A., either they would expect him to lower it or make it hop. He is a "white boy" through and through, but that car cackles, and she sure can run (That is, when she is running. We are trying to restore her) He was profiled in that car in Utah, as a gang banger, so I know the stereotype.
Cool. I know that county as well, though not as good as where I grew up. I have also lived on the East Coast, along with the upper MidWest. (Was in Hartford and Glastonbury CT for a year and a half, and in the midwest, South Dakota, Iowa and Utah, for over ten now.) I have done a lot of driving...but not nearly as much as my hubby, who averages about 13,000 a month. Even now, I average about 30,000 miles a year, just doing the mommy things and driving to the VA, which is an hour away. I love being behind the wheel, and take advantage of it whenever I can.
You can imagine the crap I get (yes that is me in my avatar). People in the car community think I eat babies and won’t talk to me, and people in the goth community can’t see how I am “into” cars and don’t understand what I am talking about anyway.
I just want to be loved…repetitively…while wearing a gimp mask…

Part 1 of your question the answer is no - everyone knew they were using their own vehicles - I told them all myself face to face in their interview, including Jason...it also stated it in the forms everyone signed to be on the show that they wpuld be using their own vehicles and then they each had to sign forms for every challenge they were in to say they understood the challenge and were ok to do it...
Part 2 again that's a 'no' no one called the cops on Jason or anyone else, not me or anyone from the Production team.
Let's just say our friend Jason has some issues....and it's becoming as obvious to everyone else now as it already was to us..
Pretty much what you see is what you get from the VW and Evo... the next rivalries on this show make that look like kindergarten stuff..

This is why I started going to some of the more low key car meets around my area, where there are tons of different cars and personalities.

nothing wrong with volvos. I've had 3. a s70 for myself, and my husband still has a 780 and a 240. The 240 he mod'd from 115hp to about 400 (turbo'd, stroked, nos, ms etc). Was a fun sleeper.

HEY! you think you got it bad in a V O L V O?

I just want to be loved
…repetitively…while wearing a gimp mask…

"There were no cops, no trees, no humans of any kind so we decided to wring out the little Ford. For 47 minutes straight the Fusion was pinned at 111 mph with the A/C on getting 25mpg. John, Gabe and I all sat there astonished. We made one fuel stop, saw no other Bullrunners and came in... are you ready... 6th place for the day! IN A RENTED FORD FUSION!! CAN I GET A BOOYA!!!
Ford people, if you are reading this contact me immediately because I don't think you know how good this little car is. Seriously, we should talk about perhaps producing some Ford Fusion "MR. ANGRY" editions. I LOVE THIS CAR!"

No problem.
Stay on topic guys.... this is getting a bit boring reading these random threads!
No idea yet on casting...
